The president threatens to bypass Congress to pass the 447 Billion dollar "Jobs" Bill.

    http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/obama-wont-wait-for-congress-to-act-on-jobs/

So much for a representative government, "We the People" and the consent of the governed.

    Crank up the presses!

His execution of a US citizen has already proven he does not have a high regard for the Constitution - this should not be a surprise.

Why would this bother people when the other one didn't?

I have already said he should be impeached. If anyone vehemently opposed Bush's overreach in power, should be shouting louder against Obama.

In other words, Obama wishes to find a "Constitutional" and legal way of getting the job done. This should please everyone.

I tend to agree with BillW :tear: on this - Obama may not get his entire jobs bill passed - but some may get thru - now I have not read the bill yet, but I would assume some may actually be good. So, doing it piecemeal may be the best way.

On second read it looks like he is still going to have to go through Congress - just piecemeal. Methinks I spoke too rashly.

Because the other one didn't bypass the constitution.

I apologise for bringing up something that would draw this thread off topic.

It might be because he was a traitor who planned and plotted to kill his fellow Americans.

Some people don't know the difference between "bypassing Congress" and "bypassing the Constitution?"

"The one" can issue all the executive orders that he wants.

He just can't spend any money doing it unless Congress funds them.

He can't raise tax rates without Congress.

I'm not real sure of what he can do - maybe declare a "National Jobs Created Day" or something along those lines.
