SBC name change revisted

    I originally said Submissive Baptist Churches for the new SBC name, but I have one that you guys might agree with.

    Synergic Baptist Convention
    Synergy means 1.combined effort being greater than parts: the working together of two or more people, organizations, or things, especially when the result is greater than the sum of their individual effects or capabilities

    Nope. The so-called "Founders" faction would have a fit.

    "Synergist!" is one of their favorite epithets to fling at those who disagree with their dogma.

    I still like Southern Baptist Church.

    Not sure this is true but I heard it is the Southern raises ill feelings with regard to slavery and the South.

    I think it is convenient ill feelings. If Southern was changed then they would find something else to have ill feelings about. Can you say crocodile tears?
