To pastors: Have You Ever been Involved In Demonic Possession/exorcism?

Had something eery happen, but not under the categories you've given.

 

Don't know if this exactly fits your criteria but--About 5 yrs ago I had a family who had a little girl who was not quite 2 at the time, and they had just moved into this huge home which also (coincidentally) had been a funeral home many years ago--anyhow the little girl kept seeing a "man"--she could barely talk yet but could say enough to tell he was wearing black-- and she would get scared and cry uncontrollably when she would see him--the parents would run into the room and "he" would disappear. She wasn't really old enough for her to be making this up. They just wrote this off at first and then after it kept happening to the point she never wanted to be alone, they called me and asked if I believed in ghosts and then told me the story and asked if I could do anything. Well I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in evil spirits and I know the Lord has given us "power over all the power of our enemies" so I took one of my deacons to the house and we went through every doorway and put annointing oil above each one and prayed God to cast out any evil spirits in the Name of Jesus. (I know that may sound Charismatic but I'm FAR from that I had an old preacher who told me he practiced this in homes where there was a lot of sickness or disfunction) anyhow the little girl didn't know what we were doing or anything--she honestly couldn't even have a conversation at that time--but there have been no other "sightings" since. If this sounds a little far fetched I understand but it did happen!

 

I sometimes wonder if the something else isn't drug or alcohol problems....
