My son is watching a game show called "Chain Reaction." Contestants are given clues to words, and have to fill in the words by guessing, and each word links to the next and so on until it makes a statement.

Their wording on the last Chain was:

    Christian
    Mission
    Complete
    Failure

This would read "Christian Mission, Mission Complete, Complete Failure" as read by the host.

Now who thought that up? Obviously it was a purposed jab.

Satan will use any means to attack and turn people against Christianity. Unfortunately, many things that go in churches accomplishes that. I've seen churches split over minor differences of opinion. Homosexuals and lesbians are being ordained in some churches, and false teachings are being let into many of them.

    Exactly brother.

How unfortunate the world is hell bent on heading there.

I guess in reality I CAN believe they did what they did.

There is no way that this was random, but tv's attempt to slam CHRISTianity. One day, they will be like those who scorned Noah and his family or building the ark. When the Lord returns, they will try to make it, but since they rejected the only WAY, they will be left to suffer the wrath of God for failing to believe in the only begotten Son of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.

I agree totally, there is no way this was random. Instead this was an unveiled attack on truth and was purposed. The world (kosmos/age) wants to rid all truth and all Christians and this was just another attack. But they are all in derision who do this towards truth and against God.

You are correct; "When the Lord returns." He has not yet done so, but He is coming to separate the sheep and goats and to reign physically on this earth.

As insulting as it is, to Christ and the church, things like this don't surprise me anymore. Still, it is sad and arouses a sense of irritation.

Profound irritation. Media almost never portrays christianity correctly or in a positive light, often times I am convinced it is intentional, as does this case appear.

This was no slam on Christianity, the words are to be taken as two word sets, separate from each other. It does not make one complete statement.

Not so, they make the statement as I stated in the OP.

And believe me, it made a statement.

It was a slam on Christianity.

Sure sounds like a slam to me. And in this world we live in, I think that is the logical conclusion.

It would be helpful if we had some other "chains" that they use on the show to see if they appear to be meaningful statements or not.

As I said in the OP here is how the host read it, and reads all chains in the same order:

This would read "Christian Mission, Mission Complete, Complete Failure" as read by the host.

Of all the chains I've heard, none stood out like this one.

None that I have heard really made any statements, they just had a flow to them.

Clearly a statement was made here.
