When I heard of this from Trevor Hammack | News In Focus (a Baptist minister's online radio show) I thought many people on this forum would be interested as well.

Direct quote from Harold Camping's Deleted Texts - Revealed! :

""I don't want to hear so you don't have to tell me / How you rewrite history a little every day / Till it's lies / That you don't have to tell me" - Tony Banks, from "The Border" (Bankstatement, 1989)

Family Radio and Harold Camping are engaged in rewriting history on a scale that would make George Orwell blush. Before both May 21 and Oct 24, 2011, the Family Radio web site had texts written by Camping and Family Radio about the upcoming events. After the events did not happen as predicted, the web site was sanitized by the removal of these documents, and Family Radio pretended like these documents never existed. Their message changed dramatically after the event. They have never explained in any meaningful way why these documents were removed, or that these documents were incorrect.

Well, I saved the documents. The link below is to a MegaUpload share where you can download a zip file with these documents....."

The link to MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service worked for me. Please email to other christians who may be interested in case Camping's family manages to get rid of that link as well.

Harold Camping may have started as a legitimate preacher, I dont know, but at the present time..although I will leave his status as a christian between he and God..I think he is a crackt-pot. A looney

Harold Camping is a kook, a false prophet, and a black spot on Christianity. I don't need to read deleted posts to know that.

The argument was made that it should be saved so people can see how and why Camping went so far off track via quoting scripture out-of-context and distorting verses to suit his false teachings.

Basically info kept for future reference for Christian apologists, theologians and/or nerds like me.

That's a great thing to save the text because honestly, it's so easy to say "I never said that" when you are wrong. But in this case, there's no question as to what he said. :(

Senility has no place in the pulpit.
