    We live in an ever changing world and nation. We also live in a nation where we as Christians have the right to express our desire as to who leads us in government. As Christian's we are not to judge and we know we all are sinners and no one is perfect.
    Would you vote against a candidate just because they are an open homosexual, adulterer, or practice some other form of immorality?

    It begs the question of what role their personal life affects their public life. At what point do their personal choices become important?

    Do we reject art or music because of the lifestyle of the artist? If we learn some 16th century painter was a homosexual do we rip down their paintings? Do we reject a movie or television program because we learn the actors live immorally? Do we refuse to use certain companies because of the lifestyle of the owners?

    To me the answer comes down to their public choices more than private. I honestly don’t care what you do in your bedroom, but I also really don’t want to hear about it.

    I believe that it is my duty to vote. With this being said, sometimes is comes down to the "lesser of two evils". I may not like either (any) candidate, but I have to vote for the one that I believe would do the most good / least damage to America. Even if I believe I am voting for a losing party, I have done my duty if I vote for that person.

    A practicing adulterer or an openly practicing homosexual, or someone with other immorality issues indicates a lack of sound judgment. I don't want someone with bad judgment making decisions on my behalf. Therefore, I would not vote for them.

    Yes I have to agree. Voting for someone who openly holds to immoral lifestyles is like voting against the Lord and all He stands for. If this nation is going to fall I do not want it to be because I helped push it over the edge by knowingly voting immorality into the leadership.

    I would rather see this nation fall with honor, and respect because moral values of those who lead then continue as one that has no honor, or moral values, and is disrespected by the world and history because its people thought that God would honor a people who put open immorality into its government.
    In the area of morality and putting people into office the idea that we can choose the lessor of two evils and still remaim a people that God honors is a total lack of godly judgement on anyone who claims to be a Christian.

    At the top of the list of disqualifiers I put those who endorse abortion and/or euthanasia (which is now legal in WA and OR).

    At least OR is honest and calls it "assisted suicide" while in WA it's called "death with dignity".
