I just finished Chris Wright's Mission of God.
It was awesome and I highly recommend it.

I am now reading NT Wright's The New Testament and the People of God.

It's pretty good so far, but NT writes on a whole 'nother level. I have to concentrate to comprehend.

    What is everyone else reading???

    By: Charles H. Spurgeon

    Review so far...

    Sold and grounded in Scripture

    balanced with

Worshipful and glorious meditation on God as He exists and accomplishes His purposes through the Holy Spirit.

Currently reading "Love Wins" by Rob Bell (Yes I am aware of the controversy surrounding this book, but wanted to know for myself what all the "hoopla" was about.

Have in my possession to read as a follow up to "Love Wins" ... "God Wins" by Mark Galli.

Also reading "Men of Mathematics" by E.T. Bell, an older work about historical mathematical contributions.

I am also about 75% complete with the Mission of God, by Christopher Wright and I concur it is an excellent book. Have also read "The God I don't understand" by Christopher Wright (Also highly recommended.)

Think ok to read Mr Bell, as it does a decent job showing how wrong Universalism is!

If I end up with a strong "oPINEion" on "Love Wins" one way or the other, will let you know. So far, the style.....asking lots of questions without answering many is not "impressing" me. There are believers who hold to universalism, I am not in that camp. But I do so appreciate your permission to read it. :)
