Dr Henry Morris is a staunch advocate of the King James Bible.
I am sure it is a KJV.

Are you sure it wasn't the "Defender's Study Bible" or "New Defender's Study Bible"?

Believe he's trying to ask about Sword Bible (King's Word Press).

The only reference or study Bible ever published by the SOTL was the Rice Reference Bible, which has been out of print for many years.

Here's what the SOTL website sells: http://swordbooks.com/biblesandbiblestudyaids.aspx

have you heard about attempts to have an "easier reading" KJV?
As that is what Sword Bible claims to be!

Jay Green has done some of this, though his skills in the original language are low (told me by someone who worked with him).

If what I remembered when using his interlinear for work in the original language texts, would seem that he was strong in the hebrew, weak i the Greek!

Then, it is not a Bible associated with The Sword of the Lord nor with Henry Morris.

I have a copy of a King James Version Easy Reading or KJVER with a 2002 copyright with the publisher listed as being at Goodyear, Arizona. The edition I have does not have study notes and thus does not have any notes by Henry Morris.

I also have an older KJV edition from the same source perhaps printed around the 1980's, before their move to Arizona. This KJV edition was called THE KING JAMES RED LETTER BIBLE: Special Study Edition. It had a Palm Beach, Florida, address.
As I understand it, the person who had that edition printed was Robert Turner, a KJV defender. He was an older man so I do not know if he is still alive.
The text of the KJV in this edition has some spelling updates and at least couple changes that would be considering updating of archaic words or more than a spelling update.

The Hebrew interlinear is strong because he had others do it for him, according to my source. :1_grouphug:

One that I saw in the book store had Dr Morris notes in a back chaper on biblical hispry, as it made the case to see the Bible as recording history from time period of the Young earth perspective...

Did have alternate english renderings for the KJV right in side margins...

It's already been established that it is the Bible the OP is talking about and that it contains material by Henry Morris:

I did not say that there could not be an edition of the Easy Reading KJV that may have contain some materials written by Henry Morris. Perhaps that publisher obtained permission to use some materials written by him, but it has not been demonstrated that Henry Morris edited it and approved any other notes or information in it.

My point was that it was not the study Bible he edited and thus was not the one directly associated with him and the ICR.

The study Bible that was edited by Henry Morris was called The Defender's Study Bible.

Here are a few examples of how the text of this Easy Reading edition differs from most present KJV editions.

At Genesis 4:17, the KJV-Easy Reading Bible has "built" instead of "builded."

At Genesis 7:17, the KJV-ER has "was lifted" instead of "was lift."

The KJV-ER has "between" at Genesis 17:11 instead of "betwixt."

The KJV-ER has "brought" in its text at Genesis 18:7 instead of "fetcht."

The KJV-ER has "evening" at Genesis 19:1 instead of "even."

At Genesis 21:30, the KJV-ER has "have dug" instead of "have digged."

At Genesis 28:16, the KJV-ER has "awakened" instead of "awaked."

At Genesis 39:8, the KJV-ER has "knows not" instead of "wotteth not."

At Joshua 17:1, the KJV-ER has "that is" in italics in its text instead of "to wit."

Think that you are correct regarding the Bible that I referenced...

seemed to a decent study Bible IF one was into the KJV version!
