    Herman Cain Suspends Campaign

Now the question is what does suspend mean. Hillary Clinton did the same thing 4 years ago - suspension is basically for legal reason - basically for acceptance of campaign funds.

    Apparently his campaign is over

It means his campaign for President has ended. He said he is going to endorse a Republican candidate in time for the primaries.

I believe he made a decision for his family. They have been through alot of dirt whether it was his doing or not.

I have told my two children

I have told youth that I preach to over and over and over again

If they REMOTELY THINK they will run for any sort of political office in their future------to keep themselves morally and ethically PURE!!!

To run their office and all future campaigns as if they were Jesus Christ Himself running for that office!!

Cain had an opportunity of a lifetime----and he blew it!!!!!:tonofbricks::BangHead::tear:

If he was still in front he wouldn't fold.

Why did he run in the first place? I guess he figgered if Slick Willie could get elected, so could he......

....i don't know, them people are in a whole different world from mine, it seems. i could've never run if i had that kind of indescretions in my past, i just don't think the same way those people do...

Assuming the allegations are true, which still remain in question.

Could it be that the Obama camp was afraid that Cain would be a major threat next November?

Of course the big questions is will he continue to be associate pastor of his church in Atlanta?

If I had someone to be afraid of, at the bottom of the list in the Republican Primaries include the following four:

    Michelle Bauchman
    Rick Santorum
    Herman Cain
    Rick Perry

The only ones I think may have a chance in a General Election include

Mitt Romney (he can raise money)
Ron Paul (we could get some liberals and conservatives to vote for him)
Jon Huntsman (listed by some as the one candidate most likely to beat Obama).

Cain, in my mind, was about as much of a threat to him as Mondale was to Reagan.

Q1- I believe the answer to be yes.

    Q2- No idea.

I don't know if these recent allegations were true or not. I guess I am inclined to doubt it, based on evidence (lack of) and the background/reputations of the accusers.

It smells of a political smear job.

I'm curious how you came up with Huntsman. It seems the only ones who actually wants him to get the nomination are the lefties and Obama.

No surprises. Cain's lack of reply to the first and second accusers sealed his fate with this decision.

Too bad, seems he had something to say. The media was out to get him. That is plain and simple the way it was. He got got.

We'll never know how many of the accusations are true. Makes me remind our staff that any appearance of impropiety is damaging enough.

    From Cains speech

"I am at peace with my God"

"I am at peace with my Wife"

"She is at peace with me"

    The good news:

"I am not going to be silenced and I am not going away"

    Plan "B"

    Cain-solutions.com

    "My parents taught me"

    Belief in God
    Belief in yourself
    *Belief in the greatest country

"Let me leave you with this":
"Life can be a challenge, life can seem impossible, it is never easy when there is so much on the line, but you and I can make a difference, there is a mission for you and me, just look inside and see what you can do. ...
Here is what I can do, we can put United back into the United States of America and I will never apologize for the success of the United States"* (author unknown)

    * Note a little different from what Michelle Obama said!

In my opinion Cain did not get into this campaign to become president. It was to get better name recognition in order to increase sales of his book. He never imagined he would be a front-runner and was not at all prepared to deal with it.

Now, instead of ending his campaign, he has suspended it. This gives him the ability to still be heard, still gives him some media access to remain visible.

Noting boosts book sales like more exposure.

I do not know about the liberals and Obama, but huntsman is probably the most consistent conservative among the entire field with the exception of Ron Paul.

I mention him because has the most experience in a variety of roles than anyone else in the field and he is a good communicator. He does not come across as kooky, and he is extremely articulate and a chief executive. His past would be harder to run against than Romney and Perry. He has an economics background with a proven record, but he also has foreign policy experience that dwarfs the rest of the field.

I don't think Obama wants to face him. One of the reasons most gave for Huntsman's appointment as ambassador was to get him out of the way for this election period.

I am not voting for him, but I think he is better than any other the other candidates besides the one I endorsed. I disagree with him on several issues, but I respect him.
