Has anyone heard of or bought a Bible from "Local Church Bible Publishers"?

I ran into this while watching a youtube video. In the video the man says that R. L. Allan Bibles fall apart (which is not true) and that these Bibles are superior.

The site is hard to navigate and it is hard to determine what Bibles are bound in &c. Their prices look to be fairly inexpensive though. I believe they are all KJV. They claim they are smythe-sewn.

I've never seen a better bound, printed or softer leather than R. L. Allan produces, including Oxford, Cambridge and many others.

    Anyhow, here is their link:

By the way, if any of you use an Oxford Wide Margin KJV, www.evangelicalbibles.com has reproduced this Bible, and has made it better than ever by improving the print and using a softer leather.

I bought a hardback bound edition of the KJV from them in order to check the English text of their KJV edition. I do not know about their leather bound editions.

They seem to print KJV editions for Bearing Precious Seed or to be associated with it.

This publisher is associated with KJV-only churches and could be considered KJV-only themselves.

I believe you are correct about them being KJVO.

Again, I watched a vide of a young man who proclaimed R. L. Allan Bibles to fall apart, and looking at his channel on youtube he is definitely KJVO with several Ruckman videos on his page.

After reading the "history" portion of their site, they are definitely built upon KJVO theories.

By the way, how is the paper and print quality of your Bible? I never paid much attention to print quality until someone pointed out "broken type" lettering to me, where individual letters have small breaks within them. My Oxford happened to be one with much of this.

    - Peace
