Why is the Christian Army the only Army that shoots their wounded? When a Christian is down it seems as though everyone jumps on board adding insult to injury.

With tongues hinged in the middle and flapping on both ends..., Christians should realize that if they have anything to say about their brother of sister in Christ they should be saying it to the Lord in prayer.

We have all heard the line about there being honor amongst thieves. Why does this not apply to Christians?

Because, when I make you look bad, then I look better.

    Its a shame isn't it.

I am a Warrior and a member of a team.

I serve the people of the United States, and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills.
I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy, the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.I am an American Soldier

Note: bold and font by me

Lets be more like the US Army.

Folks, we have a common enemy - the Devil - after he defeat him, then we can argue about the KJV, A vs C, women preachers, long hair on men.....

Can you be more specific? I'm not sure I see this in my corner of the Kingdom.

I agree that is a more biblical and less nationalistic way of putting it. Not criticising you, Salty, but I do wonder what a Christian in one of those countries hostile to the United States would make of being told that to follow Christ in His army one has to model oneself on the US army.

This is a false witness. Christians are no worse sinners than anyone else.

This is a false witness as well.

I'd like to hear Luke2427's opinion on this.

I agree that there are times when the debates get out of hand here at the BB now and in the past (KJVO, Preterism,Calvinism...) with needless accusations leveled against each other because of an expressed opinion or conviction.

But because there are so many debate forums here at the BB this may bias our view because of the behavior of a few who resort to ad hominem tactics.
