Urgent! Heart Transplant

    A poster here is having a heart transplant and they ran into major difficulties, as in it sounds as if the new heart didn't start working.

    Please, please pray for this poster. I'm only not posting the name as they never put it here before on their own and I don't wish to identify them if that wasn't their desire, so if you know the name, please do NOT put it here.

    But now would be the time to pray and pray hard.

    Yes, we need to pray for this member - the Facebook friends posted that the new heart is not working, so pray earnestly, since a donor family
    is also involved and wants the heart of their deceased loved one to provide new life for our Baptist Board member.

    Update (from her sister):

    "She is still extremely critical, but the bleeding has slightly improved. Soon the doctors will start to slowly wake her up and see how her body reacts to a somewhat conscious mind (since that adds stress to the body).

    Please keep praying. She really needs a miracle right now."

    Update from her mom: CONTINUED PRAYERS ARE REQUESTED!!! The Doctors tried to taper her off of the external pumps..and the left side of her heart was pumping slowly so they will try again tomorrow. However, her kidneys are working on their own w/o assistance!!! Let's give GOD the glory for HIS marvelous favor!!!

    Update early Fri afternoon: She is stable and improving. Big day today as we pray that she can come off the heart assist pumps and her new heart can take the load.

    Update from her mom: Dr. Sims just finished the echo. It showed improvement from yesterday. If she continues to show improvement in the morning they may decide to take her into surgery later Saturday afternoon to remove heart pumps. She continues to make small improvements and follows verbal commands (ie. squeeze hands, shake head, move toes). We give God the glory and continue to pray for complete healing.

    Update from a family friend: Prayer Warriors, she is on the way to the OR to have the pumps removed. The surgery will take 5-6 hours. Please be in constant prayer for God's complete healing and for strength and peace for her and her wonderful family. We are asking for a strong and steady heart beat! I will update as soon as her mom lets me know.

    "Please keep praying for her. News from the OR not good. Doctors had to reinstall pumps. More info to follow but please pray, pray, pray."
