    No. That Syrophoenician woman was a Gentile. We were considered dogs by the Jews. Of course, you know this.

    Is there an alterior motive to this thread?

    The title of the blog "Red Letter Christians" is a hint as to what is to come. The second hint is it is a blog by Campolo. Which then lends to the heresy and disrespect given to Jesus in the op is of no surprise. Such "musings" will be answered for.

    People were called "bigots" by some other people in another thread, for trying to follow scripture. Perhaps this is a way of calling them out ?

    I had to chuckle when I read who wrote the article that Doulos is commending to us:



    In the "Women Teaching Men" thread Doulos was claiming that "There is nothing wrong in being a bigot in of itself [sic]" and that "Jesus was a bigot".
