Santorum conflict of interests?

    Santorum is a Knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. They claim to be a sovereign entity. Isn't it a conflict of interest for someone that wants to be President of the United States to swear an oath to another sovereign entity?

    Where did I say it was unconstitutional? I simply don't think it is a good idea to elect someone that has given an oath to a sovereign military order.

    Is it a conflict of interest? I don't think so. If Santorum were elected President, what is Malta going to do about it?

    We're not talking about Iran, we're talking about Malta, but yes, if Obama had pledged alligence to Iran I would have had a problem with that. (And you could throw that problem on the pile with the hundreds of other problems.)
