This thread is for those of you who are sick and tired of the godless idiots from the two major parties that keep getting chosen to run for the Presidency to lead the greatest nation in the history of mankind. Regardless of your political views, we the people have the right to expect the office to be run in a dignified manner that brings respect to the office. We expect a person that will serve the people and not rob us and future generations blind. As a Christian, I expect certain minimal values to be upheld.

My question is, who, in all your knowledge, do you think would make the best President that could inspire enough imagination of the American people to throw out the trash of the other two parties at the polls on a third party run?

IMHO a 3rd party candidate would ensure Obama's re-election. The third party would come from the Republican conservative base and would serve only to take away votes from the Republican candidate.

When enough people have had enough, both parties will be thrown out. There is nothing sacred about either party, and neither is mentioned in the Consitition. At one time in our history, the Whig Party was one of the two major parties.

It makes no difference to this thread, and the thought turns my stomach, but any person who has been watching current events and politics for any time can see that Obama is going to be reelected without a third party.

I would like Bobby Jindal to run, but he isn't or my exgovernor who is the only Bush that I would vote for or maybe his mother and neither of them are running. Will see what happens down the road. Tired of Madison Ave. Republicans.

    Good day my Ky. friend.
I break it down a couple ways and many I'm sure will add to or take away from what I say.

Many are conservative with their money and taxes but liberal on many other things. They vote their money, what is best for them, but may not be for others. Take care of self and family, if it doesn't effect you or your family, don't bother with it, its all pro choice. Governor Nelson Rockefeller was a well know one.

Then their is the Madison Ave. PR. They tried to tell us how conservative both Bushs were as well as McCain, Bob Dole and they aren't. Might be nice folks or not but they aren't what they were sold to be.
Adds on TV can make you out to be great, they are in the selling business and so many of us fall for it. Look the movies made Allan Ladd seem to be as big as John Wayne but he was what 5'7" or less and many bought it.
