Paul got 7% of the vote. SEVEN PER CENT. His best demographic showing was among 18 to 29 year olds where he finished 3rd. He got 16% of the independent vote which was also a 3rd place finish. He barely beat Santorum who had 15% of the independent vote. Among voters self-described as very conservative he finished in last place. When asked the question: Who can best beat Obama, Paul got a paltry 2%.

Romney will probably be the nomination winner. Which means people will have to choose between Obama or Obama-lite. Until people figure out how to band together for a viable 3rd party candidate you will be stuck voting for the lesser of two evils.

Or, go ahead and vote for a 3rd party candidate that you can vote for with a clear conscience knowing he won't win.

If the voting age was dropped to 16 he probably would have killed Santorum

Ask Florida democrats how that worked out for them in 2000 when almost 100,000 likely Gore voters voted their conscience and voted for Ralph Nader. Eventually, after all the recounts, Bush took Florida by 500 some votes and became president instead of Gore.

Actually mine was one of probably thousands of Bush votes that were sent to Florida from overseas that were not counted thanks to the Dem's playing with our absentee ballots. Still Bush won legally, so you might as well quit whining about it. It's been long enough.

besides, your post had nothing to do with my point.

Which in a state where 1.6 million people voted isn't good. :tonofbricks:

    And last place was...

I've been saying for six months...Romney will be the nominee and Obama will beat him. At this point it is all just pointless.

And what does that have to do with the OP?
But just to humor you, I will make a quick comment.
Remember, it was the County Democratic Commissioner who designed the ballot.
When I first WV, we also had a -I had always voted previously voted in NY with full face ballots, but when I moved to WV we had the butterfly type ballot. I will admit, it was a bit hard to utilize - but - I actually took my time, and THOUGHT my way thru it - and actually voted for whom I intended.

Lets see kids 16 and 17 don't want to fight in a war -Paul said no wars - hmmmm
wonder what those kids would have done back in 1776. Only 40% of Americans supported the American Revolution. No wonder it took 8 years to win. The Brits never reached a level of 100,000 troops in America.

and you can say anything you want to with numbers!
    (note: bold my emphasis)

No we do not have to choose between those two. There may be a possible write in or just not vote for either one.
