I recently started a job as customer service manager for a local chemical lawn care company. Therefore, Poncho, I was wondering what you think about lawn chemicals. Are they part of the conspiracy too?

    1. Why is FL370+ an issue? What difference does it make?

    2. Air is a fluid. It forms layers. When you look up and see a "perforated" contrail; simply put, you are witnessing an aircraft flying in that sweet spot between higher and lower dewpoints.

It's called questioning. It's a lost art in the age of mainstream consensus. Air is a fluid? Hmmm, and all this time I supposed it was a gas. I suppose you have some credible citations that back up this theory?

    This is too funny...

Poncho bemoans the lack of refuting of his conspiracy...

And then when I link to an article that walks through it point by point...

He dismisses it out of hand as "fear mongering"?

I meant to say air is fluid, not a fluid. Poor late night editing on my part. Thanks for pointing out my error.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. We've seen Poncho get confronted by his outlandish theories in the past and simply avoid engaging with people who are knowledgeable about the subject. It leaves me with no desire to engage him or his claims.

The website you posted really does a good job of presenting a scientifically based refutation of the youtube video. Perhaps the biggest issue in the youtube video is an inconsistency in apply reasonable scientific methods for testing and evaluating data that will bring out a true result.

Anyways, I'm going to go get my tin foil hat out anyways...sooner or later it all comes down to a conspiracy for some folks. I'm just too long removed from watching X-Files every Friday night.

    Uh, no.

"Innate intelligence" is not useful unless it is tied to reality.

Contrails (that is, "condensation trails") are streaks of visible water vapor (or ice crystals) caused by an aircraft engine's hot exhaust gases moving through a cold atmosphere.

They can last for hours at a time depending upon weather conditions. Back in World War II, they were a constant problem for Allied bombers because the large formations of heavy bombers B-17s, B-24s, and B-29s would leave huge tracks in the sky for Axis fighters to follow, effectively giving visual guidance to anyone who wanted to try to shoot them down from the land or the sky.

The idea that they are somehow jet-age modern or part of a secret conspiracy is based on the initial unsupported assertion that those contrails must actually be chemtrails because they persist.

Of course, people rarely believe conspiracy theories because of facts, so I'm probably wasting my time here.

Wisdom is the lost art of being able to quickly sort through assertions and determine which ones are plausible and which ones are simply spinning fables.

    Gases are fluids.

    That's basic grade-school science.

There is a conspiracy theory that humanity is under the control of dinosauroid-like alien reptiles who must consume human blood to maintain their human appearance.

Most conspiracy theorists never met a conspiracy that they didn't like.

It saddens me to see the flippancy and ridicule in this thread.

I thought everyone already knew that
    1) there are contrails AND
    2) there are chemtrails
......But all of you knew THAT didn't you?

OR..... before shooting the messenger OR scoffing at the message, or ridiculing him.... you did your own research .....right? You checked into data available on internet, right? You search various terms to see about weather modification, right? Each of you have observed the skies routinely and never observed a criss crossing pattern which is not explained by normal passenger flight routes nor what one might consider normal military flights/formations/ exercises? and the eventual cloud formations which frequently occur along such patterns till the "cloud" seems to unify? Are any of you aware that we have a substantial reduction of industry and its pollution....yet tests in some of the more pristine areas of our country are showing increases in some chemicals.... like aluminum (which IS already of common occurrence in nature but bound)?

This is a brother on the bb/Christian board: If you find this or other posts disturbing what you want to believe.... ignore it... or let it disturb you enough to check out the information.... Don't just parrot the ridicule like the common, low-down, unregenerate life after the customs of this world: Rise above and state your remark with a touch of concern and love.... even if you find such postings too incredible to accept. But, consider that even if you should find something too incredible to believe... if there is a possibility that you might be wrong.... be willing to accept new information and change your mind.

An honest man may be mistaken. But once he knows the truth, he is either no longer honest.... or he is no longer mistaken. To attack a report merely because one doesn't want to believe it ....or because so and so (insert your own advisor/sacred cow figure here) ridicules the idea... is foolish and lazy... until you're sufficiently informed to know it is not so. And if it is so, or may be of relevance... for concern in the future although one may perceive no threat right now... then don't try to discourage others from showing interest by snide remarks/ ridicule/ scoffing!

Treaties written in the 60's or 70's contained language relating to weather modification... signaling a proable advancement beyond merely making rain clouds..... which had been discovered much earlier.

Does such capacity to alter the weather, or the climate, or the environment, or spread a "vaccine" or bug spray or for some other purpose of experimentation ...either for or against your general welfare w/o your knowledge really seem too ludicrous? Sure, superficially such imaginings might seem fringe, "crazy".... but, doesn't the Bible speak of the deceptive heart of man: Each of you scoffers, consider what you do see and know about your world, about the incongruences of what you witness vs what is reported to you. No! You don't believe everything reported to you as fact and as complete do you?! But we all share interests of what we hear and what we see with others before we check it out.... some stuff more unbelievable and less measured than this!

There are a lot of inconvenient truths which are initially uncomfortable to hear:
There is a concerted effort by some to depopulate the world...their perception is that it is already over populated by as much as 80%. Names you should know... Turner, Rockefeller, Kissinger, Gates.... Methods already talked about.... disease, vaccines, food, water, war, hunger, "natural disasters".

Insane? Sure it is! It is insane if one thinks that the heart of man is good, that every solution to man's problems is logically and methodically thought out with respect for our Creator and a real love for Creation! Insane if you truly believe that all person's in power are doing the will of God.... w/o considering "who is their god?"

Just because God allows man the ability to have dominion on the earth doesn't mean man's purpose is fulfilling God's perfect will nor conforming to the standards God would have: Therefore, it is probable that in the avarice which is in the natural heart of man, and tendency to be self-deceived, self-righteous in his own pursuits, covetous, lying, insatiable in his desires.... that there are many deceptions kept from our general knowledge by some with hidden motivations serving and justifying themselves.

Buck up.... troops, and, if you can't tolerate the plow-boy.... stop beating him and let him do his work: The army runs on its stomach... and if there were no plow-boys willing to do the dirty work you just might find yourselves starving one day... suddenly surprised and confused and with no idea what happened or even if there's hope for correction.

As recent as 10 years ago..... I was where some of you still are...... totally ignorant and somewhat blissful in that ignorance .....accepting/ believing there's something innately "good" in humankind:
There's not! Every person is born with a vacuum in his heart which can be filled... for good or for evil but the only way to fill it for good is to get Christ in: So if ya'll can stomach Poncho's post.... allow him the peace to do the bidding to which God has called him (for some will awaken to work in these temporal issues) while the rest of you continue to the task to which God has called you (which is not to beat up on a brother).

I know sleestacks were always trying to catch Rick, Will, and Holly but the head sleestack, the only one that could talk, always seemed to bail out Marshalls.

God has called him to post his conspiracy theories? I think you got that wrong. God is not the author of lies...that job belongs to someone else.

Let's see if I've got this straight.

Al Gore is a fool for proposing that 150 years of of industrial progress belching carbon emissions into the air could possibly alter the atmosphere leading to climate change, but a handful of jets flying overhead a few times a month dispersing chemicals is going change weather patterns, poison the population and lead to the destruction of the earth.

    Is that about it?

    1. Algore IS a fool.
    2. Anyone that believes a man with a political agenda - Algore - is a good source of scientific information, is a fool.
    3. There are thousands of commercial and military flights all over the world every day, and chemicals are easily introduced into the jet fuel and transmitted through the exhaust.
    4. I don't know if there really are harmful chemicals in contrails, but I do know that the government sponsors climatic experiments, and that for some reason the government seems to be infinitely more interested in what's coming out of my car's exhaust than what's coming out of planes.

Yes, of course, those chemicals can survive being burned up at 1,500 degrees in the jet engine.

The polymer tips on my .300 magnum rounds survive being fired, & and stopped, quite nicely.
