Minute Vacations are periods of time to just stop and watch a bird fly over or to listen to the wind in the trees. I have come to believe these are important for me and I enjoy them very much. It is a way of becoming aware of the world around me, of little things that are happening. It is a way of, at least briefly, living in the now.

Are there others on the board that enjoy minute vacations?

I live in the present, since moving to a wee town in New Zealand. I have not much money but I am so very happy, it scares me sometimes.

Getting off the insane societal machine of stressful work environments and the need for endless change is like being at Heaven's waiting room.

Have you ever watched a butterfly emerging? It is such a little thing but it enscapsulates a miracle of God. Change is all about us....the movement of wind, the sun etc....minute vacations maybe or an endless serenity.

    Love it, live it.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost
    Now and forever
    Amen.
