I saw a similar story about a month ago and figured some of the youngsters he's got running his campaign are inexperienced. At least I hope that's what it is...

And once again part of the problem is that he just dismisses the issue, and rudely apparently, rather than deal with it be open and up front about it. Same MO as the racist newsletters which brings everything into question.

Which leads me to a couple of possible explanations.

    1. It is a trivial issue, only happened once or twice and detractors are fishing for something to accuse him of doing. In this case he rightfully and indignantly dismisses the matter. Nothing there.

    2. It is a serious issue, systemic, and he blows if off as being trivial as a defense mechanism.

I'm inclined to go with #1.

Trivial or otherwise it is not right to dismiss it in this manner. Since he has a history of doing this with regards to serious matters I am not sure if he is just arrogant or if he is as unethical as it appears.

I don't know what's true in any of this. But I do know his response doesn't do him any favors.

What is sad, is that even if every one of these allegations is true, he is still the most ethically upright of any of the candidates running. Gingrich, Santorum, Romney, and CERTAINLY Obama, ALL have FAR worse "dirt" on their records...

And so, in the end, Havensdad's final statement advocating Ron Paul is, essentially, "Well, he's not quite as corrupt as the other guys!" Now THAT is sad...

Of course. Jesus isn't running, so a perfect man is not possible. Of course it is not "Quite as corrupt"....more like, they are "WAY more corrupt"...

And of course, I said "If." I do not believe either one of these allegations. Anyone who has done the slightest bit of independent research, know that the "newsletter" fiasco is ridiculous; this "fraud" charge is equally ridiculous. There has not been a single man in this kind of position, who has not had similar errors. The fact that Ron Paul brushes the charges off, is part and parcel to their ridiculousness....

Would you list the legal and moral "dirt" on the others please.

Not hardly. Saying that someone deserves respect for a lifetime of consistency and integrity is not "bowing down." Guess you don't think I should respect and defend my dad against silly attacks, either?

For instance, Obama has proven his racism and hatred of America by sitting in a church where it was preached for 20 + years. He wants to force people to go against there religious views, and pay for abortions (the so-called "morning after" pill). After vowing to veto the NDAA, he not only signed it, he sent a letter to congress demanding that the language which excluded American citizens from having their 4th amendment rights taken away be removed, and then lied to the American people about it.

The only time the media really finds stuff to bring candidates down is when they are getting extremely popular.

Now if Paul won first several states, I wonder how much more the press would find on him....

Lets see, Paul is better because Obama is worse.

Well, I seem to remember something said quite often, and if I am not mistaken - by Ron Paul types:

The lesser of evil is still evil.

The question, Why will Ron Paul not fully address this issue?
