...for those that have the all-knowing wisdom and mastery of the Gospel to step in and correct those of us who are not quite as intellectually sharp, or Scripturally literate when we share our views and opinions???

It is apparent that while all of us have been given gifts and talents, some see themselves as being far more superior, blessed and led of the Holy Spirit when it comes to having the RIGHT answer! Of course, we need to yield to their far more superior ways, or we face being humiliated, ridiculed or accused of being incorrect! There are also much worse things that can happen to those who challenge the wise counsel of some, because to do so means we are maybe, "Not Baptist enough" or associated with TBN ;). Then to rub salt in the wound, the less superior sheep will face the need to get a life in line with their overall wisdom, or through their spiritual enlightenment whatever else they deem necessary to remain on the roost as king of debaters!!!

After all, words only hurt when directed in their direction. They can say and insinuate whatever they want, because the rules of debate protect and cover all their sin (oops! I meant sarcasm, sorry)! And in the end, we can leave the forum, or repent and burn sack clothes to right our fleshly wrongs!

We should forget the fact that every time we enter a forum thread, we open ourselves up to the potential for public ridicule and spiritual insinuations from those who are higher and more mightier than us lowly sheep. Each of us lowly sheep should humble ourselves before the cyber feet and thrones of those self-appointed scholars, who never flinch when they are challenged because (in the end) they know much better than us, because their word is kin to Gods. :tear:

Of course, I remain grateful for having a soundingboard like this forum to share what's on my heart. I was simply wondering out loud if anyone else is feeling a little beat up, from time to time, like me?

And to beat one member to the punch, so to speak, If this makes you feel better, I'll say it for you, "The dude is whining and crying, AGAIN!" Now does that make you feel better? At least, you don't have to take the time to send me a sarcastic response!

It would appear to me that those who take an aggressive approach to all others lack self-confidence themselves. As such, they try to throw their weight around like a bully on the street corner. Shoving and pushing is their way. Education is one thing...wisdom is another.

    Brother Paul,

Regardless what anyone says on here, you know what you believe, and I imagine you believe this through extensive study. No matter what anyone on here says, you will stand and give an account for what you have done, and for no one else. Just let the negative feedback(s) flow like water off a duck's back.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

2 Chronicles 20:9 If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

When things "bog" you down, don't look down, but up. He will comfort you when you need Him. Remember these two verses right here:

    Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Amen????

Hate to ... 'rain'... on the parade here.

RD2, really, I'm surprised at your behavior here. Well, not really.

I've found you to be, well, quite superficial, and offended by almost anything.

What is really going on in the OP is an exposition of your heart thoughts towards others, and is not an accurate representation of those you set out to rebuke. It is more of a commentary upon your person my friend.

Your behavior in it is much worse than those you accuse.

Arbo made some implication to this himself.

To top off your comedy of errors, you then rejoice with others because they prematurely and obliviously (against any thread of truth given in your accusations) agree with you. Thus you've torn others down, something your OP preached against, yet you do the same.

I'm sure I won't get a God bless in the same manner as given to those who encourage you without thought for truth, evidence, nor backing up of your rant. :tear:

Yet maybe I'll receive a curse or two as in the OP, or a God bless while you refuse to face the truth that your own bad behavior is, well, don't get offended, is quite immature to say the least. Bottom line is, I couldn't care less which end you place me on. The thing is, you cannot face that some of the things you teach are in fact erroneous doctrinally. In addition, it is not those who bless us that are our 'friends' but instead it is those who show us our errors, something that at least some of us have grown to understand.

    :)

Yes, it would make my life easier if you'd append each of your posts with this message. I'm glad you are able to self-identify your problems now!

...some of you folks are just so proud of yourselves you could just pop, huh?

Contrary to what some might think..., behind every alleged "whiner", with or without cheese, or at the end of the comedy of errors, is a heart felt thought or message trying to be heard. Should you not want to hear it..., that's fine, but not everyone walks in your shoes..., I'm sorry, I mean floats across the floor as some of you think you do.

Personally, over the years, I have been done in by more fine upstanding alleged Christians that I have people of the world. Why is that? Oh, I get it. It's just me..., all I need to do is man up and assume responsibility for my own actions..., got 'cha. How come I never saw that before?

Before I forget, whine gives me terrible heartburn and cheese stops me up. Ain't interested in either of 'em.

(Still awaiting real evidence from the OP and the others who oblivious to any real evidence rush in to condemn)

Look at you calling others 'alleged Christians' while rebuking for the exact thing you're doing. That's you calling the salvation of others into question.

Yeah, 'how come you never saw that before'?

    Wake up, OK? :wavey:

It's not important I've won. The point is you've called others salvation into question and provide cynicism as a retort sans repentance or admittance.

The OP is laden with pejoratives with no evidence. Others brashly accept this w/o thought for proof, endorsing it blindly without wise consideration of fact.

    You've also blessed it. Blindly.

It's more like you're wrong, and you lose.

    See the difference?

Its just amazing how pompous and self righteous and "filled with themselves" some people can be, even in the face of a brother of thiers who is is asking for a little compassion.

The exact OPPOSITE of How Christ handled sitiations like this.

    Shamefull beyond all comprehension.

Who asked for compassion? The OP who condemned a slough of persons for his own hide and his own cause? The one who did what he accused others of doing?

    Ridiculous.

Yes, continue the name calling and pejoratives while supporting the false cause of the OP. All the while remaining blind to your own vices.

Point out the exact self-righteousness that 'they' revel in, or, are you still being judgmental?

Let's see, you've used pejoratives in two consecutive posts slandering others, which remain as baseless accusations, yet this is the fruit you are bearing.

Do you have more names and/or pejorative remarks for others, or are you done with that? If so (hopefully) are you now going to provide some facts to reinforce the OP or are you going to provide rebuttals?

    Hmmmmm.
