I just found out about Mitt Romney strapping the family dog, an Irish Setter, to the top of the car while while driveing cross country, 75 mph on the interstate, while on family vacation.

It makes me sick just thinking about it. This loony should be arrested, charged with animal cruelty, and prosecuted

This man has several skrews loose to treat an animal that way.

Romney has no buisiness being president.

God help us if he is elected.

I would vote for the dog before I would him. What an idiot. Personally, pets add a lot to my family's life. We have a dog, cat and raise parakeets. Animals are innocent. Romney is an amoral political opportunist.

If this is true - then why hasent the Dems made an issue out of it? Or even Newt?

Could it be true, possible - but I would like to see some more solid info...

With Romney's general character, no doubt it is false.

As I understand the story the dog was in a dog carrier sheilded from the wind and the carrier was strapped to the car roof.

The media makes it sound like the dog was simply trussed up and tied down on the car roof and left to the elements.

If a dog carrier was used (which I have no doubt myself) does it make a difference in your opinion?

My opinion is that I am not seeking out excuses to vote for Mitt Romney, dog or no dog.
