    He's done:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OaBNOomwD0

A revealing slip that should not even be a thought factor or in the heart of a perspective leader in a country such as ours.

Guess Romney's the only alternative left...sigh!

Based on the video, he has nothing to worry about.

Not sure what he was trying to say, government something. There is a clear rush to judgment on this. I doubt he was going to say any such thing.

It's immature posts like this that create so much animosity on the board.

The sad truth in America today is that Americans as a majority will not have Jesus rule over them, so they give no support to devout Christians. Santorum is 100 times the better candidate that Romney, but Bachman and Perry would have been better than Santorum. Palin or another evangelical Christian would have been better than them all, but that will never happen in America today.

And who assigned you the position as Minister of Maturity? Personally I think you need to actually go out in the real world & look around instead of legislating from your couch. You might learn something instead of putting your head in the sand.

Personally, I’d love sleep it off and to be able to defend him and do not want to think he would use the term starting as ‘neg”…ro” (which was most likely the term about to be used rather than the more condemning spin that many would rhetorically put on it that he was starting a word beginning with “nig”). Problem is, when criticizing his opponent what does “anti-war” and “negro” have to do with each other in regard to that criticism?!? I think one would have to be intellectually dishonest to deny what he was about to say and if they cannot see some prejudice in the way he was using the term they would also have to be willingly blind. This does not justify those who jump at wanting to suggest he was starting a say a worse term beginning with “nig’ instead of “neg” but neither does it negate that many will access this as a problem!

The only defense I can come up with is he’s probably heard the term thrown around enough that while in the heat and excitement of criticizing Obama it would be easy to have such a slip…and he did quickly stop from finishing it, it may not even reveal his true heart on the matter, BUT the point is MANY will outright reject ANY implication that this is a white VS black election and will not see themselves as looked on as deciding on that issue or even be falsely branded as doing so. Although rhetorical, this (suggestion of supporting a racist) is exactly the spin that will be used against Santorum supporters and "it" is a powerful weapon. Can you imagine the commercials put out if Santorum was running against Obama!? I wish it didn't happen, but simply Santorum needs to think more carefully before he speaks and in this case just shot his foot off while trying to come from behind in a race. He’s finished!!!

Everyone thinks this is really funny, but I doubt you will think it is funny when Obama is reelected because the Republicans decided to nomnate a pro abortion, pro gay rights cult member. For Christians who consider voting for such trash as either Obama or Romney, you ought to hang your head in shame.

Funny!? Hardly! Read my post above, there is not a bit of humor in it! This breaks my heart! BUT...Face reality pal; you are left with Romney or Obama, two real choices, there will be no other choice, voting for neither is not a viable choice, and your protest against Romney amounts to nothing more than a vote for Obama by giving him an advantage. Personally, I'll grit my teeth, hold my nose, and vote for Romney before I logically give my support to Obama by default because of not voting against him!

    To you and Arbo,
What are your minimum standards of decency? It should be quite clear to both of you I would never vote for Obama. Given that, please give me one, just one fact about the character of Mitt Romney that is an improvement over the present office holder.

The fact you are saying "I will hold my nose, grit my teeth, etc" to vote says it all. If you held your nose, you could vote for Obama. You can say a vote for a third party is a vote for Obama, but that is just not true in any sense of the word, it is a vote for a third party.

I was a Republican for 45 years until last year I had enough. I was voting for conservatives before you were born, and voted absentee from the middle of a war in fact. Your logic escapes me. I am now in the Constitution Party. Do you remember in school the grade of F. In my high school (Gulfport High), below a 70 was failing. It is an absolute grade. 70 was the minimum standard. (Funny, college was a 65). There are no F+'s.

So please, both of you, explain the gap between Romney and Obama, and parameter you wish. Faith in the Lord, honesty, abortion, gay rights, gun control, government run health care, immigration, foreign policy, war and peace, please explain this to me. And I mean from a Constitutional, conservative mindset.

Like it or not, because those who think like this give people like Romney a free pass and do not insist on a conservative candidate, the election will produce just what you deserve, Romney's defeat handed back to you on a silver platter November 6th.

Any time you would like to compare experience and knowledge in the areas of service to the nation, government service, education, and historical research, just let me know. It is obvious your standards are very low.
