That is very bad news. I do admire his commitment to his family. There is no way, under any circumstance, that I am voting for the idiot remaining.

I feel badly for him because from what they said on the news today, his three year old daughter is in the hospital critically ill. She has already outlived the life expectancy of those with her genetic condition and I'm sure that has a huge bearing on him stopping the race at this time. If my daughter were possibly dying, I'd skip the presidency too.

I'm praying for his family and his little girl. :(

Before I read about his decision, my first though was that it sure took him long enough.

If it's true about the child, I can only sympathize.

I admire Santorum very much. Despite the theological differences, he is a man of deep conviction and character. It is very sad that the one remaining is the essence of evil. There could have not been a bigger difference in the choice, certainly a much bigger difference than the two (Romney and Obama) that are now going to be running against each other in the general election.

I, too, was saddened to learn of Santorum's decision to withdraw from the presidential race. I voted for him in the TN primary on Super Tuesday, even though I had some reservations about him (due basically for his support of Arlen Specter in the 2004 PA GOP primary rather than supporting conservative Pat Toomey [who eventually won a Senate seat in 2010]).

OTOH, I fully understand his reasons for withdrawing given the critical nature of his 3 YO daughter's health and respect him for doing so.

With what the GOP now has left, I'm probably going to vote for a third party candidate in November.

Theological differences? You mean that he a Knight of the Order of Malta? That he is heavily influenced and immersed in the Great Whore written of in Revelation? Yeah, I'd say those are some theological differences....

Then you agree with my post. If someone said the sky is blue, you would say it is green.

What I was attempting to point out was the Santorum is not the Christian everyone tries to make him out to be. He's associated with and deeply ingrained in one of the most evil organizations on this planet. It's irked me quite a bit that Santorum is painted as being the choice for evangelical Christians.

I guess everyone has differrent degrees of tolerance. My last vote for a liberal Republican was McCain. Santorum would not have been my ideal candidate. Ron Paul was unelectable, Gingrich has a lot of moral baggage, and Romney is totally unacceptable. I guess it is a mute point now that Santourm has dropped out.

I wonder what Gingrich will do?

Anyone who wants to be president must be:
    1. Apuppet to the one world order group
    2. Full fledged member

Every President so far has been one or the other. The last to fall from thier favor had VP who wasn't and he resigned first and the then President appointed one who was and then he resigned. The one before him that fell from their favor was killed in office.

They are all connected with evil organizations or they never become President.

Yep...it's a big conspiracy. The Presidents are preselected at birth and groomed throughout their life.

Not quite that bad but they are brought into the fold at an early age. The only reason the one world folks allowed Mr. Obama to be elected was to get the Arab nations into their fold, if he accomplished that he will get a second term or if he is close, if not then he will be removed.

I voted for Obama in 2008, but I won't be voting for him this time. I also won't be voting for Romney -- no matter who he chooses as a running mate. What are our third party choices?

Gingrich is going to stay in the race to build up his brand. He's resorted to posing for photos with supporters for $50 a crack.

I kind of light-heartedly asked around the office this morning if anyone thought Gingrich would make a play for Santorum's delegates....

Right now, for me at least, the only viable option would seem to be the Constitution Party.
