"Unlike other candidates who only speak to the importance of confronting the major social issues of the day, Governor Romney has a record of action in defending life.”

    — Dr. John Willke, Founder & 22 year President, International Right to Life Federation, Co-founder, ten year President of the National Right to Life Committee, etc.

This says exactly the opposite. He supported abortion as governor of Massachusetts in his RomneyCare bill and other mandates. He made repeated statements of support for abortion while running against Ted Kennedy for the US Senate. That does not even touch the issue of gay rights. Romney is the essence of evil.

You forgot to call LadyEagle a Romney apologist...

Make critical remarks about her obvious lack of morals...

Belittle her for selling her soul for always voting for pro-gay, pro-abortion cult members.

Oh well, maybe you'll do better next time.

And, like Ronald Reagan, he had a change of heart. He says he is pro-life now and explained how that came about after he was governor. The Mormon church is against abortion, just like the Catholic church. He has promised to have pro-life appointees if elected. Would you rather have someone who says he is pro-life for POTUS on the chance that if elected, he will be pro-life, or would you rather keep the status quo, someone you already KNOW and has demonstrated he is pro-abortion (Obama)? That is up to the voters to decide.

On the pro-life issue and Republicans - during the last presidency under GW Bush, there was a time when the presidency and both houses were controlled by Republicans. Did abortion end? Was there legislation passed and signed into law (other than the Partial Birth Abortion Ban) to stop abortions? (BTW, Obama was against the PBA ban) Planned Parenthood (the largest provider of abortions in the US) continued to be funded by the Republican majority. I say, that is a sorry track record for a group of legislators who claim to be pro-life. Something to think about. Perhaps the abortion issue is just a hook to attract conservative voters.

    From sources:

GINGRICH: On April 9, 1995 Congressman Gingrich appeared on "Face the Nation" and noted that he supported funding for an abortion in the cases of rape, incest, and to protect the health of the mother.

SANTORUM: Voted to subsidize abortion and Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of abortions in America, while serving in the U.S. Senate. He also backed pro-abortion candidates against pro-lifers... He defended himself by arguing that he voted for unconstitutional appropriations — used for terminating pregnancies, lobbying against pro-life legislation, handing out birth control, and litigating to keep abortion legal — because they were part of bigger spending bills he supported.

    -------------

After carefully looking at all the candidates and scrutinizing their qualities (I liked Herman Cain but Team Obama got rid of him so they could continue to play the race card), I voted for Mitt Romney in the primary. And I will vote for him in the general election (even though I really think the fix is already in on Obama). Mitt Romney is correct - this election is about the "soul of America."

And a hook for liberal voters. There's only a couple of ways to stop abortion--a Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, or a Life Begins at Conception amendment to the Constitution. It's doubtful that either one will happen. Meanwhile, both parties pander to their bases on this issue as if either the President or Congress can do anything about it.

This is why it is important to vote for someone who would appoint pro-life judges. As LadyEagle said, we know Obama won't do that, maybe Romney would.

To be fair...I'd rather vote for the person who tells me the truth vs the person who lies...if afterwards they are going to do the same thing.

This is my last comment about Romney. He is evil, saturated with it. If there is any more worthless statement ever uttered in the history of mankind, than Romney saying he has changed, then I am sure it was uttered by Obama's comment on change. I am not going to sell my soul.

Did Santorum sell his soul when he endorsed Romney?

You are truly one of the masters of hyperbole.
