So, he actually thinks Romney is a "Christian." That's a stretch, as Mormons do not believe Jesus is God!

Sounds like something Rick Warren would say, though I am not surprised Osteen said it.

I would like to see him in a room with John MacArthur, Al Mohler and R C Sproul. Do you think he could even understand them? He's a little boy holding a man's position IMO.

If that is what you think then you know nothing of Rick Warren.

I agree - Rick Warren would not say that a cult is a Christian faith.

This thread should have been labeled A Day In The Life Of Joel Osteen :)

Heck, he wouldn't even make it in a room with TD Jakes and Benny Hinn!

From Mormon.org: "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the official name of the religion commonly called the Mormon Church. We believe first and foremost that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God."

Yes, but Jesus is not God according to the Mormons. They believe that He is the Son of God - but not God. They believe in a different Jesus.

Actually, I do know quite a bit about Rick. That is why I made the statement. I also know a bit about his supporters. So, I expect continued denial.

By historical standards, Baptists are not "Christian."

Right. They don't believe he is God, the way we believe in the trinity.

The problem is not the words they use, but the definitions behind those words. They use many of the same words that we do but they have different definitions of what those words mean.
