It is against Planned Parenthood not women's health. It is very dishonest to suggest otherwise.

This has got to be a joke. Texas posted the highest private-sector job growth of any of the 50 states, and the unemployment rate is 7.1%

I don't know why a Christian would encourage someone to live off the fed. I would encourage anyone looking for work to check it out, down there. But C.T.Boy is right. If yer looking to start 6 generations of welfare families, Texas might not be the place to go.

How can cutting non-abortion services to 130,000 poor women not be considered an act against women. No more cancer screenings for these women, no more medical advice, no more medical help? How is this not against women and especially poor women?

You say you are pro life, what about the lives of these women, some of whom will die because services are not available to them?

Hogwash. PP is not the only organization women can turn to.

It's simple. Stop using federal funds for abortions and keep the clinics. but PP doesnt want to agree to that.

BTW, medicaid will pay for women to get screenings, contrception and treatment from private doctors without going to PP, so they are losing nothing if PP is closed except taxpayer funded abortions.

    Good riddance planned parenthood.

The Republican controlled state government says they will shut down the entire program if necessary. That will cut out all services to these women.

There are others who are pushing for the State to fund the program as they say it will cost more to shut it down than to continue it.

Not true in this case, according to the article.

If you are going to take Federal money you have to abide by Federal rules.

You are twisting the truth here

The Republicans will shut down the entire program if the taxpayer funded abortions are not stopped. but they are only shutting down PP, not medicaid!!!! Women will still have medicaid to go to a private doctor.

And, yes, the will cut off medicaid money to PP but not to the other providers. Why are are you trying to project the lie that all care for women will cease without PP? Private doctors are available now...just not taxpayer funded abortions

Women will still have the same access to medical care as before...it just wont be through PP.

They will loose all federal Midicaid funding ... thus these women will loose all services.

Why is Planned nonParenthood waging this war on women by insisting on waging a war on the unborn rather than providing real healthcare services?

As was pointed out they will only loose this funding because they insist on murdering the unborn.

    Another double standard.

Post after post, you pointed out how names were called such as "those with low morality"
(which was not the truth in the first place), by those who criticize Romney for being pro abortion, and in this post, you turn right around and call a group that is in favor of abortion "those who insist on murdering the unborn." Now which side are you going to take? Not only which side are you going to take, what gives you the right to call out others for calling names and turn right around and do it?

I am against abortion and at the same time I am pro life in caring for the health of women.

I do not follow the Republican philosophy this it is terrible to kill an unborn fetus, but it is all right to kill poor women by not providing health care for them.

Are you in favor of allowing poor women to die?

And abortion is only a small part of Planned Parenthood. Many of their clinics do not provide abortions.

Irrelevant. Abortion is their raison d'etre. All else is smoke and mirrors. Planned Parenthood exists to kill women. Half of aborted children are female.

Where Republicans are working (albeit feebly) to make it easier for families to raise their children, half of whom are female, they are accused of waging a war on women. And where Planned Parenthood is cutting tiny girls into pieces, they're for women and women's health?

Next you'll be telling us Hitler was merely cleansing Germany.

Actually I called YOU out on accusing MEMBERS OF THIS BOARD as having "low morals" and of having "sold their soul" for simply speculating about voting for Romney.

While simultaneously endorsing Santorum who endorsed Romney - and now it seems that you yourself may be considering voting for Romney.

All I can say is "Wow".

Actually this group is not merely "in favor of abortion" as you so mildly say - but actually perform abortions, campaign for women to have abortions, use our tax dollars to perform abortions, and now are holding legitmate health care services in hostage in order to continue the same.

I know that your feelings are hurt because you were called out on your inappropriate accusations against fellow board members (ie "low morals" and "sold your soul") and I applaude your recent apology tour and hope that you will be able to mature enough to get over it.

I can only hope though - the work is up to you.

The double standard was not addressing your post. That is why I put a quote in almost all my posts.
