    I have several hobbies, but one of my favorite is the family tree. I have been working on it for decades, but as of late, with the advent of sites like ancestry.com, the hobby has become more fascinating than ever. I have found connections to all 44 Presidents. Some are distant, some fairly close. Many, many Americans have the same connections to some degree, it is a matter of searching it out. Here is one example for President Gerald Ford.

    I'm a genealogy addict. :) I was looking thru your list, but don't see any names that are in my tree. Ancestry.com has made it so much fun, and so easy! They (Ancestry.com) say I'm related to John F. Kennedy, Woodrow Wilson, Theodore Roosevelt, and others. So who knows, maybe we are cousins, too!

    In doing some family history research, I found that my wife Janice is a descendant of the Plantagenat line of British monarchs (Richard the Lion-Hearted, Henry Longshanks, etc.).

    When I came across it, I called her and said, "did you know that you are a princess?"

    She said "I've been trying to tell you that for a long time."

    Turns out that about 85-90% of all Brits have some royal heritage if they look long enough.

    I think I'm distantly related to President Andrew Jackson.

    My wife traced my line back to Scotland, where some dude executed one of my ancestors. Then (and you kinda have to laugh) in the next generation, the executioner's son killed the victim's son.

    I'm adopted.

    Jesus is the only true son of God. The only one with the right to become the son of God. The only one that has a right to his Godly inheritance and the fullness of Godly love, peace and joy.

    I don't deserve it, but through faith, I've been adopted into God's family, and I've become a joint heir with Jesus. Fantastic. Forget about your presidents, I'm the child of a King!

    You got allot of WELSH Names in there Brother.....did you ever read how William Penn wanted to arrange Pennsylvania for the Welsh...he wanted to call it WELSH LAND for the Welsh Quaker immigrants coming here but the British government Nixed it....perhaps thats how the Nixon's got their names.
