    1 Timothy, Chapter 2
    11:Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
    12:But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

    [insulting and offensive remark]
    Besides I would not want any man talking to my wife unless it is the Spirit of God talking to her through them.

    Why are you so angry and bitter towards God?

    How many times do you have to ask me this before you are satisfied?

    Great Point....

    ....Others should stop at this point!

    I don't believe he is serious about any of your attempts to get him to listen to what you are trying to share with him, so as you say, "don't feed this troll!"

    Of course, I will not go as far as to call him a "troll". I do think he's playing with you folks.:tear:

    Awwww shucks, I guess that means he won't answer my questions.

    Or maybe it's because he can't.

    Hmmmm - which is it?

    Oh - my husband is present for this discussion. He's here next to me in bed. :)

    A good Concordance might help.

    I consider the referenced scripture referring to women not preaching. Which I still adhere to.

    But one also has to consider the early church and the various problems they had in the beginning. I mean, it wasn't like "alakazam" and the First Baptist Church was opened with all programs, policies and issues dealt with in a set of bylaws based on a full and complete understanding of the Lord.

    One thing the early church did not need was confusion and division.

    1 Peter, Chapter 3

    1:Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
    2:While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
    3:Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
    4:But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
    5:For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
    6:Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

    In my opinion(I said this for your sakes)the reason you have all these stubborn and out spoken women who know not the truth nor the word of God and by all means rarely obey it running around here and there in all the Christian churches is because.

    Ephesians chapter 5

    21: submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

    I do not care if you hate me for preaching to you right out of the Holy Bible.

    [On this board you cannot "be so bold" as to be so rude--DHK]

    Praise the Lord.

    Boy, you sure hate women don't you? And on mother's day! Remember, your mother was a woman, if not for her, you wouldn't be here.

    What I don't understand about militant atheists is why they get so worked up? I was one for a long time and still don't understand it. If God doesn't exist, why get so mad about Christians and their "little fairy tales"? Why do these atheists feel such a strong desire to attempt to belittle Christians?

    Interesting. What would have been your answer to these questions when you were an atheist?

    There's a difference between an atheist and a militant atheist, like our troll, Kityoung or Pastor Ezekiel or whatever name he/she wishes to go by.

    Some atheists are content in their non-belief and never give God or Christians much thought.

    Then those like the troll here and his/her cronies at LandOver spend abnormally huge amounts of their waking hours mocking and making obscene paradies of God, the Bible, Christians, and the Christian faith.

    They can't seem to get enough of feeding the hate. They flit from website to website changing their personas yet beating the same tired drum.

    Honestly, there are multitudes of Christians who do not give God as much time as these militant atheists give the devil.
