You are unwilling to study the Bible aren't you?

Perhaps you will figure out the context if you read further.
However you missed the verse between verse two and five which has a direct application to yourself (once again)

Galatians 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
--How did you manage to miss that one?

Verse five does not speak of confessing and forsaking. It talks of bearing one's own load.

Galatians 6:5 For each man will bear his own burden. (WEB)
If you read the following verses, they speak of finances.

    You made the claim of being a red neck, not me. This is the definition I found for a red neck and it is nothing to be proud of;
    narrow,prejudiced,or reactionary: a redneck attitude.Synonyms: narrow-minded,intolerant.

Yes a red neck can repent, but drugs will not help them as all drugs do is cover sin. Confession and forsaking is the cure not drugs.

You really need to post your medical degrees on the board before dispensing any more advice.
Even, the beloved physician Luke, was far more qualified than you.

Have you ever had the occasion to take a Tylenol or Aspirin?
Or is the pain "all in your head," just "mental"?

Freeatlast- So when are you going to accuse DHK, who is a moderator, of following a false religion or of making up Scripture?

This is about covering sin not pain.

I don't need a medical degree to speak about how to deal with sin.

If it is a head-ache it is purely mental stress. There is no excuse for it, and no medication needed for it. According to your philosophy no one should ever need aspirin or Tylenol for a head-ache. It is a spiritual problem. Read the word, relax, pray, and it will go away. There is no need to be on drugs to mask the pain. Isn't that your philosophy here?

Your misuse and eisegetical use of scripture does not cover mental illness.

No, that would be your philosophy not mine. Sin always comes from the heart, and no drug can fix the heart.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
The only way to deal with sin is confession and forsaking, not drugs.

Can you prove that or is it you who reject the scripture for a personal interpretation?

The mind is the heart. Even Jesus said that.
"Out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adulteries..."
Out of the mind comes these painful things. Things that cause stress; things that cause actual pain in the mind, the brain. Thinking about those wrongs causes actual pain--pain in the head. And then you take a drug for it???
    You are hypocrital!

The context is not dealing with people with legitimate mental health issues which by the way is a physical disability. When studying and applying scripture context is important even when it comes to application. You have ripped your proof text verses out of their context. If you keep them in their intended contexts then their is no application on this issue.

FAL - Is it sin to have your body tell you that you need to eat dirt? Is it sin that makes someone sad? Is it sin that makes someone not be able to remember things? Is it sin to not be able to interact socially with others?

News flash! Pain and sin are two different things. While an aspirin (drug) may help with a pain, no drug can help with sin except to cover it. The only fix for sin is confession and forsaking.

You are not getting it are you. Many, if not the great majority of headaches, are caused by sin--stress--the things you worry about. You go and take a drug because you worry. You get headaches because you worry. You get pain because you worry. If you take aspirin, etc. for that reason, then you are a hypocrite!

I am not sure why you would think eating dirt is a sin. Could you point me to some passage on that please. The same with memory loss. I am not clear what you mean by not being able to interact with others as that could be very broad and could be caused by sin.

As to being sad that is totally different then the rest you mentioned. Sadness is an emotion and Worry is a major cause of sadness, and Jesus tells us specifically not to worry.
~Fear is a major cause of sadness, and we are repeatedly told to not fear.

If the person needs a drug to overcome sadness then yes there is sin that needs to be dealt with. It could be forgiveness, worry, fear or something else which are all sin not trusting the Lord or not letting go of something we should.
