    LOL…seriously, by reading the title of the OP…I was expecting a group of “Louis and Clark” Baptist missionaries on an “expedition” chopping their way through the jungles of Brazil…not a group out “soul winning” in the suburbs of London…

    There not many calls for the Lewis and Clark style expeditions these days...given the state of world exploration at this point. There are however vast numbers of people who have never heard the Word of God before, even in areas where we assume that they do. We have the misconception that people grow up with at least a basic knowledge of the Bible (knowing the stories of Noah and at least the names Adam and Eve, for example). We should not make that assumption.

    I am very familiar with the salesmanship tactics of the SBC and how they convert souls to Christ as I spent some years in a SBC Seminary. Hence, this generic non-contextual information does not mean much.
