Today Obama said the private sector is doing just fine. Is he out of touch with America and reality?

Of course. Most narcissists are. NPD is a mental illness.

I agree he is out of touch. However, I will also admit that, as a small business owner, my business is finally beginning to improve ever so slightly. We're still down about 60% from when he took office.

Most businesses here are doing well. The place where I work never works less than a 45 hour week, and we usually work 60 hours.

Is Obama a narcissist? Or is it the cabal behind him that are narcissists?

He's out of touch with reality. Small businesses here are going under on a regular basis. Financially, the USA is going under while Obama continues to "eat cake."

We have a political leadership which as a whole, all three branches- presidential, legislative, and judicial- are out of touch with God.

May He have mercy upon us!

No I don't think I would say he is out of touch. I think he knows full well what is going on. He just does accept that his Marxist Socialist agenda is the problem. I would say that he is in denial, not out of touch.

Yes thank you for that catch, but it has been too long for me to be able to fix.

I agree with many that the president is not out of touch but fully aware of what he is attempting to accomplish.

Though in my mind that doesn't explain his present feeling.

I can't read his mind but as he reviews his past performance while comparing it to the present sentiment of the general public he probably has a one word response...

    OOPS!

    Too much too soon.

Obama is an honest politician who is following orders from his handlers.

OK, then switch the OOPS! to his handlers.

    Too much too soon.

    Economy's doing "fine", eh ?

In that case, so are his chances of reelection.

Everything with Obama is election campaigning - targeted at specific groups.

He is doing the gay thing right now...

And looks to be transitioning into the public employee phase.

He blew it in Wisconsin by staying away from the recall...

Now he has to act like he is behind public employees by saying the we need to spend more at the State and local level.

Meaning more stimulus money to hire teachers, police, firemen, etc.

That will calm down the public employee unions that are mad about the Wisconsin recall.

He will soon be onto calling for some special handout/right/whatever for the next special interest group.

I hear that left handed, green eyed, red haired, Latvians are moving up the list.
