The whole gay thing is getting quite out of hand.

Is there nothing that Democrats won't do for the gay vote?

To endanger the donated blood supply in the name of "LGBT equality"?

I am open for correction on this one, so if someone has more information than me, feel free to contradict me. But from what I hear and read, HIV/AIDS is basically gone (edited to add the qualifier: "In the United States. I realize it is a huge probem elsewhere). It's pretty much a non-issue anymore. People still take precautions not to get it, but it's more like a precaution not to get the flu.

With the counts of HIV/AIDS being so much lower than they were in the past, I doubt that it has any real impact on medical insurance compared to obesity.

Basically, if you look at the incidents, for the past several years the incident overall total has remained the same. However, in the past few years, the number of incidents among black gay/bisexual men has risen drastically. This means that the general populace number is actually decreasing.

On the same website, it says that male/male relations only account for 2% of the US population, but account for 61% of the instances of HIV. While no state has an obesity prevalence of lower than 20%, and ranging into the low 40%. It's easy to see why obesity is cited as a cause of rising insurance costs when it affects over 20-40% of the population, and HIV only affects lower than 4%.

I have thought of late that the AIDS problem was a boon to the homosexual agenda in that it created sympathy for homosexuals. Sympathy led to acceptance by many, particularly those on the left. Now if you say homosexuality is a perversion you are targeted as a homophobe.

Given that this so-called Christian nation has slaughtered more than 50,000,000 unborn children and has endorsed the homosexual lifestyle I wonder if the Rev Wright was prophetic in some of his remarks condemning the United States.

While they do test for HIV the tests are not able to catch new infections. It takes several weeks and sometimes months after a new infection before the tests will show positive on infected blood and by that time the blood has been given to someone else. So a newly infected person could test negative and give blood and then that blood would be given to another person and they would get HIV. That is why people in the homosexual community are not allowed to give.
