    Anyone here see Jay Bakker on CNN last night? I didn't catch the whole interview, but I did catch the part where he said Jesus was at one time an atheist when he "doubted" in the garden prior to His curcifiction and when he cried out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me".

    They run a party ministry called "Max Life" where anyone Christian or non Christian can come and play whatever music they want and dance however they want and drink as much alcohol as they want without anyone "condemning" them for anything. And they throw these parties in the name of Jesus!

    They say this is showing the non-christians the grace and love of God. Jay rebelled after his mother and father were caught up in sin and he felt the church treated their family badly. So now he is preaching his own brand of Jesus apart from the full counsel of God's word. He rejects orthodox christianity and wants to mix his "christianity" with the pleasures of the bar crowd, the churches of satan.

    Sad, very sad. And they claim their ministry is of the Holy Spirit. Jesus an atheist once, what a lie from the pit of hell!

    This is just one example of what can come out of the teaching that it is ok to drink alcohol and party with the antichrist bar crowds.

    Yes, it is very sad.

    Do you have any idea how large of a "following" Jay Bakker has? How many are actually taking the "bait"?

    This is definitely prophetic...a sure sign of the imminent return of Jesus Christ for His Church.

    2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

    2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

    2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

    2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

    2 Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

    2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

    2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

    THanks for the scriptures! I would guess that Jay would like to cut those ones out. I guess he already did in his ignorance.

    Wake up people! Look at what is going on in the name of Christ! We need preachers and pastors who stand on the word of God. Are we finished with evangelism of the unadulterated word of God? Holy Spirit we need You!!!!

    Those who are interested in proper Biblical Christianity and how the Gospel of Jesus Christ is, not so subtly, being altered among young evangelicals will find this most enlightening. I tell you in the Lord, you ignore this Emerging brood at the eternal risk of your own children because likely some of their mystical musings are already in the youth group of your own mainstream evangelical church.

    Well, the bible states that we are NOW in the last days, they started at time of His acension back to heaven, and there were false prophets even in Book of Acts!

    Think Jim there fails to understand that jesus was reacting in his humanity to awesome burder of becong the sin bearer, and to facing seperation from his father!

    always been heretic, wolbves in shhrep clothing in church...

    Big problem is that they have taken over entire denominations and groups, and much of modern church influenced by modern secul views, lost its salt, and have to some extent 'denied the very lord that bought them by His blood!"

    Up until recent times, the church still was conservation and solid in teachings on the whole, but started with Evolution , that attackedbeliefs on orgins, and went into Bible, as they used that and liberal concepts to water down and 'gut' the bible!

    Lose the correct viws on origins and the Bible as very word of god, then any theology goes!

    Tattoos are not an issue. The deadly theology most certainly is.
