    Not much of a stretch, it seems. All the guy needs to do is come clean. But he can't do that and convince enough voters he's not just going to be the president for multi-millionaires.

    Actually, voting for Romney should pose a much larger problem for conservative Christians. Mormonism is the religious Islam of America, and if Romney wins the election, with the help of evangelical Christian support, they will use that to advance their cult, and Christians will be guilty of complicity. So ends any chances of a long hoped for revival in America.

    Facts? You haven't posted any. DNC talking points? Yeah right.

    You must be a Mormon.

    Get the guy to release his tax records. Then you'll have facts. Until then, you don't. Then we can talk.

    It's pretty obvious from JackMatthews posts that he did not bother to read the OP article. :rolleyes:

    Asking that Mitt Romney release his tax records, which Obama has done by the way, is not asking or encouraging support for Obama.

    It is one of the most absolutely unfortunate situations that the Republican party now seems stuck with a nominee that fewer than 50% of primary voters who went to the polls selected. Other than Sarah Palin, I don't think Obama's campaign administrators could have been as happy with any other Republican nominee as they are with this one. Even his GOP opponents couldn't get him to come clean with his tax records. The stuff that the Obama campaign is putting out is milktoast compared to what Gingrich and Santorum dug up and put out early on. There are no facts presented here, just speculation. Until his tax records are made public, that's all you'll have and he'll be fair game for anything the Obama campaign wants to say about it.

    In the wake of the Supreme Court decision, you got a real good look at Romney and his potency as a candidate against Obama. Backed into a corner, he has to defend the position that the AHCA mandate "is not a tax" because it is based on his mandated fee from the program he put forth in Massachusetts. Then, later, he acknowledges, "Well, I guess if the supreme court says its a tax, its a tax." Pathetically weak for a presidential candidate, which probably explains why he is getting no traction in the polls.

    Vote for whomever you want. I'm not voting for the candidate of either major party.

    It is clear you did not read the link in the op.

    Three things different, first it was at the state level so that makes it apples and refrigerators. Second the SC said it is a tax which no one expected. Third the IRS is used to enforce this which is different than what Romney did. So when you get your facts straight come back and comment.

    Matthews

    You start out referencing Salon!:laugh::laugh:

    Your post reminds me of something I heard years ago.

    Mary Madelin, a Republican operative married to the democrat operative James Carville, was asked the difference between a democrat politician and a Republican politician. Her response: A democrat politician can look you straight in the eye and lie, a Republican politician can't. I assume her response reflected her experience with Carville, the snake or skull, whatever.

    Matthews

    The above statement is nothing but a lie. Mormonism is a cult that is correct but it is not a religion of death. Islam is. Not only is Islam a religion of death it is totally autocratic, a melding of false religion and the state. The worst of all possible worlds. But that seems to be what Obama and his rabid mindless supporters seem to want!

    Sorry, almost missed your answer. SO--based on what you've written, you're fully aware that any vote for a 3rd-party candidate will take away a vote from Obama or Romney; and you're also aware that a 3rd party candidate has no hope of winning.

    So by casting your vote for a 3rd party candidate--or not voting at all--which candidate are you supporting by that action?
