Does your church have Vacation Bible School? Recently had this a couple of weeks ago at our church -- 500 kids and 300 volunteers. See attached video -- http://vimeo.com/44452642. A lot of work (and fun) sharing God's love with the neighborhood children and families.

Ours will be in two weeks. We run about the same numbers as you! :)

We had ours in June....kids had a grand time. Lots of work, but it's always worth it.

We are not having VBS this year.

First we only rent our facility on Sun. We might be able to find something for a week - possibly

But, we would have a lack of workers

So, if a church would like to send a mission team up to the Greater Syracuse area in 2013 (Jul-Aug as school ends on 22 Jun) then we will start making plans!

We send a mission team each year to a church in the Cayman Islands to do VBS with them. Sorry... that's so much more attractive than upstate New York .

Can't imagine 500 kids! We had ours week of July 8, and had 70+ participants on the last night at our inner-city church. Could not have done it without the mission trip youth from Missouri! A few kids got saved, and a new attempt at a teen and adult class were sucessful. I pray that our followup is fruitful.

Day 2. 460 snacks put out for kids (I don't feed nursery or preK so the numbers are really like 500 kids), fed 200+ workers. Big vats of trail mix made. LOTS of coffee. Wonderful time but I'm POOPED!
