Based on CrabtownBoy's recent influx of articles attempting to discredit Romney, I'm curious: If you're thinking about voting for Obama, why?

This is your opportunity to tell us why Obama is the better candidate.

Primarily because the Republicans seem to be at war against just about everyone except rich folk and Romney has bought into these stances. It is not that I think Obama is so wonderful, just that at this point in time I believe he is interested in helping the middle class and poor. I do not believe Romney gives a whit about either. That is pretty much it in a nutshell.

I really wish one party or the other and I do not care which would run someone I could get excited about.

Why would you think that, when Obama's top contributors are Wall Streeter's and (Forced) Union thugs? He doesn't care about the poor and middle classed. If he did, he would not be trying to bankrupt our country, leaving these people with no support...

A troll answer, totally off topic. The topic is why Obama is, to some people, the candidate of choice. Do not try to derail the thread. You can start a thread on the topic you brought up.

I am trying to get you to expound on what you said. It is most certainly NOT off topic. If I started a thread that said, "Whats your favorite color?" And someone said, "Blue", and then I responded "Why is blue your favorite color" that is NOT derailing the thread, nor is it "trolling." You made a ridiculous, unfounded and nonfactual statement. I am calling you on it.

Obama ain't trying to help the middle class or the poor. He's campaigning to remain the puppet du jour of the folks who are REALLY in charge and they aren't worried about the middle class or the poor.

And this is why the Church needs to wake up and stop pushing the election of either of the two anti-Christs as though it's a "must" and instead get back to the mandate which Christ has given us to complete.

:applause::applause: And I am AMAZED that folks don't see this. The man has gone on and on about Wall Street greed. But his administration is FULL of these folks.

In my best Southern vernacular, that man ain't stuttin' no middle class or poor.

Whether or not a Repub or a DEM is elected is truly irrelevant because they are all beholden to the international banks that have taken over.

I mean we've got the Federal Reserve Bank, a PRIVATE bank, masquerading as a federal agency when it is not and dictating federal monetary policy.

The federal government OWES the Federal Reserve Bank money but we let the ones we owe money make monetary policy. BIG CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

this election like so many of the others in recent history is a farce. the only thing at stake is which puppet the Bilderbergs want in place.

So far all the replies except my first response are off topic. Start new threads if you want to discuss those topics.

Rightly or wrongly I see Obama as being more inclined to help the middle class and poor. I see nothing in Romney's campaign and stated positions to make me believe he will do anything good for them. He is rich and will help the rich. That is my take on his statements.

Romney's tax reform plan is to cut everyone's tax rates by 20%. Doesn't that help the middle class?

Very appropriate and on topic. But of course is also dead on.

So if he is so inclined to help the middle class and the poor, why are they still in such need of help after his first three years?

So it's okay for the middle and poor to get more, but we don't want the rich to get more?

That is easy. The Republicans made a decision to oppose everything, absolutely everything that Obama proposed. They have faithfully followed that decision at the expense of the poor and middle class.

They agreed that night: oppose everything in completely unity. Show, Draper writes, "united and unyielding opposition to the president's economic policies."

There's no conspiracy theory there. The federal reserve is made up of privately owned banks and we started social security to pay back this private bank. Now the Alan Greenspans and Ben Bernankes of the world dictate the country's monetary policy in order to make money for privately owned banks.

    The love of money...

Obama's theology doesn't seem to match up with that of Christ. I don't rightly know how a person is to be believed if everything they are for is the things that Christ is against, and what Christ is against, they are for.

The man has shown far more love and admiration for all things Muslim than he has the things of Christ.

He cames across like an international version of Joel Osteen.

It didn't matter what they opposed. During his first two years in office, were the poor and middle class not having problems?

Why didn't he focus on them then while he had both the House and Senate to push all sorts of unGodly legislation through for him?

The man is evil and bent on destroying the country. It's kinda like his healthcare proposal. It might sound like a good idea to give everybody free healthcare, but when there is no country because Obama has bankrupted us with his socialist schemes, let's see what the poor and middle class have to say.
