Temps to remain in the hundreds all week.

Is it time to cry out for the heat and flee to the mountains?!

20% chance of rain on Tuesday, other than that...nada.

I'm considering going swimming, but at these temps, the cannibals among us might just toss some veggies and spices in with us and enjoy a nice soup. Pool water is NOT supposed to be hot!

We had the hottest June on record here and July is on its way to set an all time record.

It's 74 degrees outside today and raining. I think I'll take that.

Strangely enough, it has never been over 100 degrees in Miami.

It is very hot here in Eastern Ontario as well. It poured rain last night and everything was bone dry this morning........no sign of the rain that fell.

Strong winds to-day, but they too are very hot. We are expecting thunder storm. We'll see if that happens.

    Cheers,

    Jim

It's pretty hot here, too. Mid 90's to low 100's are not my kind of weather! I"ll take the cool weather any day.

    I'm ready for fall. :)

It is sunny and cold here. We have just had a wet spot....fears that our mighty river could flood our little piece of Paradise....oh those of little faith!!!!

Feel for you in the hot spots.....it will end eventually....head for the cool spots....malls, pools and someplace else!!!

TV news showed a map of drought areas. The only large OK areas were the Pacific North West, Some areas around Maine, and northern Florida.

While it's unbearably hot here during the Summer afternoons, I don't complain about it. It's over way too soon, and then it turns cold for several months from Fall through Spring. The only hot weather we get is in the Summer. We have two kinds of weather here--hot and dry, cold and dry, although we do occasionally have some in-between weather but very little of it.

Just 50 miles (or less) east of here (El Centro) the temps are a LOT higher year round.
