Someone needs to indoctrinate Home Depot to the fact that we won't tolerate this filth being taught to our children and grandchildren. I wrote to both the chairman and president of the company.

I just noticed that the original post says "Office Depot". Is that different from "Home Depot" or the same store? I said "Home Depot" in my emails I sent.

Yes they are different. Home depot is basically a building supply, hardware store with other items. Office depot is manly an office supply store.

Office or Home. Both support sin so your letter made sense to either, unfortunately huh?

Homosexuality is most likely a birth defect.

I dont understand this thread! What are people so afraid of...is it the Homosexual & a queer lifestyle? I'm sure most of them would prefer not to be homosexual because that has to complicate their individual lives. And no one of our religious persuasion will ever accept them or their life styles as normal. Is it that your all afraid children will get mixed messages & become homosexuals? I assure you that if the kids are raised in a bible believing Christian home, then they will know the difference. So what is it specifically that you object to....after all homosexuals by law have rights as human beings also but should abide by the norms of society. Whatever they do in their own homes to one another in privacy is their own affair....& and if they want to choose an abnormal & sinful life, how you going to change that.....certainly not by boycotting the Home Depot....that is laughable.

My objections are more focused on aggressive deviant behavior like pedophiles who scar children for life. Those should be identified & locked up for life to keep them away from the innocent. Or they should be surgically neutered.

First you do not understand the homosexual agenda. They are actually proud of their lifestyle and want nothing to do with following the God given lifestyle.
Second you are very incorrect if you think that no believers are accepting their lifestyle. No they do not claim it for themselves, but they are accepting it for another even to the point of many now saying that it is not a choice but a birth issue and not sin.
So to answer your question the youth of today are confused about this. They are hearing over and over that it is not a choice, but that one is born with it. As young children began to experiment with their bodies, and this happens at very young ages, they are being told that if they feel the urge for such even with the same gender it is natural. That is the problem. While I do agree with you that our children need to be raised properly the problem is that the added false information makes it more difficult and leaves them wondering. So this is a problem of indoctrination being waged against God and morality and it needs to be fought against with every tool we have and not just roll our eyes at what is happening and thinking it is neutral.
So the boycott is to hit them where it hurts in hopes of stopping the promotion of the homosexual agenda. We are seeing right now the results in the military of the church not doing anything thinking it the homosexual agenda has no power. It is a serious issue.

Gerry, I believe that these businesses that you have speak of have already forecast and plotted out just what becoming Gay Friendly will mean to their bottom line & then moved forward with it. Probably, they believe that by becoming "Gay Friendly" they will entice liberally minded people to shop in their stores all the more. Time will tell whether your boycott will have any lasting impact.

Also while I agree that there is a percentage of homosexuals who are out there promoting the so called legitimacy of being queer, the ones that I know would tell you in a frank discussion that they would prefer to be normal & heterosexual.

Lastly, if we did a better job in our churches & as good Christian parents of teaching the kids right from wrong, God Blessed relationships & lifestyles Vs God damned relationships & lifestyles, then we would be able to insulate ourselves.

Gerry, there has been Queer people walking the earth for forever....but the ability to name the darkness, & choose life and not sin rests in us being good Christian parents & teaching our kids to love & be obedient to the Lord. Life is so much richer that way!

And boycotting the business is a tool to say no to those who promote the sin.

Bill, I find myself in the very uncomfortable position of having to agree with you! :)

When the Human Genome project was completed it was found that all homosexual men shared one trait in common. They all had gene Xq28 in the "on" or dominate function. Bailey and Pillard found that 52% of monozygotic (identical twin) brothers and 22% of the dizygotic (fraternal twin) twins were concordant for homosexuality. (Wilson and Rahman 2005, p47.)

Thirty-three of forty (82.5%) sibling pairs tested were found to have similar alleles in the distal region of Xq28, which was significantly higher than the expected rates of 50% for fraternal brothers. They also found that 13% of uncles of gay brothers on the maternal side were homosexual, compared to 6% on the paternal side. (The X gene is from the mother.)

However, penetrance (the proportion of individuals carrying a particular variant of a gene (allele or genotype) that also express an associated trait (phenotype) - in other words, the number of men having the gene who are also gay) was only around 55-60% so there was some other factor influencing the development of homosexuality. It could be environmental, although the twins in the study had identical environments but not identical development of the trait, or the result of an as yet unknown allele (gene).

Of course, regardless of cause, the practice is homo-sex is still a sin, just as the practice is hetero-sex, apart from the marriage relationship, is also sin.

But it is indeed a fact that they are "born that way." It is called "the sin nature." We are all "born that way." Some of us just have different besetting sins. :)

    You should be uncomfortable because that so called "gay gene" is a false positive along with every other so called medical reason to excuse their sin. Read here;

The bottom line difference is we want the truth and the libs want what ever excuses truth. The article proves the claim is false. Murder, rape, lying, adultery, are all a choice and have nothing to do with our genes and the same is for homosexuality all are a choice.
It is true that we all are tempted in different areas, but not because of our genetic make up. If you notice the only ones seeking to come up with an excuse as to why they are homosexuals are the homosexuals and the liberal base. All sin is a choice including homosexuality. They do not have any greater temptation then anyone else.
    1Cor 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

Homosexuals are claiming they have an uncommon temptation in a gene and the false teachers are spreading that lie..
