    A hypothetical question.

If Romney looses will the GOP fracture into splinter groups and disappear from history or will the GOP, as we have known it, survive?

You may be right. I do not know. The Tea Party folk may split away. Frankly I hope the GOP does not fall to pieces regardless of whether I agree or disagree with the policies or support or do not support their candidate in a particular election. The country needs at least two strong parties. History has shown over and over in other countries that bad things happen where they is only one party.

Yes the party of the Republic will survive; but the democrat party will likely change its name. They have for years claimed to track its roots to Jackson/Jefferson; lying liars and the lies they tell. Under Obama they will just change the name to democrat-socialist Party.

This will probably be the first executive order of his second term.

Essentially there is only one party in the USA. The globalist party which has two factions. The leftie faction and the rightie faction. These factions differ only in their approach to . . .

"Centralize everything, globalize everything, control everything, grow government power, reduce the effectiveness of the citizenry, turn the public against each other, rob them while they’re distracted." source

If Romney loses, the GOP will probably continue it's dwindle down into the very things it supposedly stands against. The next nominee will be a "moral" atheist.

I would love to see an opportunity for a more centrist "conservative" party to arise. A party that really holds to traditional conservative principles of fiscal responsibility in both taxation and spending, and doesn't want bigger government to monitor peoples' bedroom behavior. The GOP ain't it.

Not only that but the Dems want government to supply items to be used in the bedroom. Thus free condom giveaways and forcing health care companies to provide free contraceptives. Kind of a double whammy there for ya--more government spending AND telling you what to do in the bedroom.

If this present administration survives, the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, porch, yada, yada, yada will NOT be off limits for big brother's meddling.
