and Christians voting for Romney no matter what?

Both sides seem to present compelling reasons as to why they will vote for their candidate of choice and not the other no matter what.

Is there a core difference between the rationale of either?

I'd reckon 99% of blacks would say O'Bama is black, and about 31% of Christians would say Romney is a Christian.

What is the "compelling reason" that Blacks give for voting for Obama?

    He looks like them.

Whereas Christians may be compelled to vote for Romney because he's the "lesser of two evils" and their only choice or whatever the reason may be for folks voting for him.

I can think of 2 reasons Christians should vote for Romney.

One is Supreme Court nominees. Guaranteed that if obama wins, the 2 nominees he appoints will be pro-aborts, pro-homosexual, and view the law through a liberal lens towards destroying liberty. We have already been maimed by Justice Roberts decision on obamacare.

Second, is someone to stand firm behind Israel. With obama, we have seen his foreign policy and throwing Bibi under the bus. Mitt Romney will stand with Israel.

There are other reasons, but here are 2 main ones.

It is not necessarily the man, but the office and what agenda that office will promote. We have seen what 4 years of obama promotes.

Your question is loaded. Christians are not necessarily voting for Romney "no matter what."

    Anyway...

I presume that blacks overwhelmingly vote for Obama because as a minority group they feel empowered to have one of their own as President.

I presume that Christians will vote for Romney because he is anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, and believes in personal responsibility.

So yes, there is a core difference between the two rationales.
