I am not KJV only although I love the KJV. Local Church Bible Publishers are a ministry that makes quality bibles that are sewn, have a double stitched leather cover and liner, and raised hubs. The leather covers come in cowhide, top grain cowhide, and ironed calfskin. They do have a lambskin cover for the 400th Anniversary KJV bible. They sell these bibles at cost- no bible costs over 65 dollars, but they are worth several times what you pay. They do accept donations since they are a ministry. I have several bible from them and they are the highest quality I have seen, rivaling the Allan bibles imo. They only have one study bible, the 1917 Scofield, but they have CCC bibles, wide margins, and note takers. They have a bilingual English/Spanish bible and a camaflouge bible for Junior boys.

    just go to localchurchbiblepublishers.com

While both of these local church publishers may possibly be associated with Bearing Precious Seed, they are actually two different publishers and their editions of the KJV differ from each other.

At the 2012 Sword of the Lord Conference, there was a display booth for Bearing Precious Seed, and it had KJV editions printed by First Word Publishers (Milford, Ohio).

The KJV edition printed by Local Church Bible Publishers in Michigan seems to be the Cambridge Pitt Minion edition.

    1 Chronicles 2:55
Hammath [Cambridge Pitt Minion] [2010 LCBP]
    Hemath (1769 Oxford) [FWP]

    1 Chronicles 13:5
Hamath [Cambridge Pitt Minion] [2010 LCBP]
    Hemath (1769 Oxford) [FWP]

    Amos 6:14
Hamath [Cambridge Pitt Minion] [2010 LCBP]
    Hemath (1769 Oxford) [FWP]

The KJV edition printed by First Word Publishers of Ohio also has a good number of other differences from the KJV edition printed by Local Church Baptist Publishers.

    Genesis 6:5
    God [FWP] GOD [LCBP]

    Genesis 8:1
    assuaged [FWP] asswaged [LCBP]

    Genesis 8:11
    plucked [FWP] pluckt [LCBP]

    Gen. 11:3
    mortar [FWP] morter [LCBP]

    Genesis 18:7
    fetched [FWP] fetcht [LCBP]

    Genesis 23:8
    entreat [FWP] intreat [LCBP]

    Genesis 24:65
    veil [FWP] vail [LCBP]

    Genesis 25:4
    Abidah [FWP] Abida [LCBP]

You are correct. Our church sells the Word Publishers bibles at cost and people buy them for new converts.

There is indeed a past connection between the LCBP of Lansing MI and BPS (Milford, OH is a suburb of Cincinnati).

Unfortunately, LCBP sells Gail A. Riplinger's books. In my opinion, she and her books have fully discredited now and therefore her products ought not to be offered by honest Christian businesses. Lest any one think I may be unworthy of a negative opinion, I have myself read and researched two of GAR's books (which I still possess). I have posted here on the BB a review of one of her books, and one of her video lectures in the past displaying my objections.
