Nothing those two clowns say could change my mind. I already know who I am voting for and it's NOYB.

I'm just watching to see if Romney proclaims himself to be a Christian man of faith to 50 million viewers.

I can't really think of anything that Barry might say that would surprise me as he seems to get a pass no matter what he says.

For those who don't have cable

    From the web:

The first Presidential Debate takes place on Wednesday evening. ... to start at 9 p.m. ET and will be televised on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, etc.

I have to be up at 1AM, so I won't be watching...not that I'll miss anything.

Now THIS would not surprise me since he's gonna think he has a mandate after he is re-elected. But if he wants an all out civil war( and I wouldn't be surprised if he does cause he'd get to use that civilian stateside army he's amassing), then let this take place.

You are right, self indulgent slob vs self indulgent thief. You could see that from any prison in America.

Please expand more on this civilian stateside army that you speak of (with citation, if possible).

I don't know why exactly (sleep deprivation, maybe), but for some reason I got a kick out of this. You should have your own radio show.:laugh:

Some have said you will not be watching the debate tonight. Does that mean you will not be commenting on it tomorrow?

No. We will still comment. Some will comment just to comment. Some will comment based on what they already know about the two evils people think they have to choose between. Some of us will watch part or all of the debate online away from the pundits and other trappings and will be able to comment despite not watching it the way the media and the system says we should. Others, like myself, will probably seek out transcripts to read to avoid having to watch them lie to us and avoid Obama's smug little looks as he talks down to the people he loathes because he wants us to feel stupid despite knowing he hasn't outsmarted us.

These options remain available to us at this time. I doubt they will for long.

I'm trying to figure out how many times Obama will work into his narrative, "I killed bin Laden" or "I brought bin Laden to justice" considering the topic of the debate is supposed to be the economy and healthcare.

How many times will Romney invoke the name of Reagan?

I vote with you. I wish the debates were not televised, but rather were only on radio or only transcripts were provided with no commentary allowed by the media for 48-72 hours so people could discuss the issues without being told what they just heard or who "won".

    But that's just me.

That might be the answer but it won't happen. Regardless tomorrow it will be pretty predictable...Romney supporters will claim the win, Obama supporters will claim the win. They will both point out lies and places the other guy fumbled.

How many times will Romney express support for abortion during the debates as he did when debating Ted Kennedy?

Yup, I'm sitting at my desk working on a paper for college and a friend who is an "obamanite" just texted me to tell me how "stressed and nervous" Romney looked. I told him "then he must look like most of your students before a mid-term or final" (he's a college prof).
