    How about:

1.)"Pre-historic" is a fundamentally self-contradictory word to begin with, and second

2.)"Pre-historic" anthropological phenomena, are most likely examples of post-flood man having only the capacity to utilize those tools and materials immediately available to him post deluge until he was capable of re-mining and re-smelting those metals and materials that he was perfectly capable of knowing how to use pre-flood according to Genesis 4:

Gen 4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain [was] Naamah.

I think the theory of evolution has given us a superior view of ourselves in thinking that "pre-historic man" was some kind of ape that grew smarter over time and developed into man. God created Adam and Eve and the historical account of their creation is in Genesis, so really, there is no such thing as "pre-historic" man.

Early man was just as intelligent as we are today, in fact, probably smarter.
