    From another thread:

"But if they can't or won't, what price do you put on life in the womb? So the antiabortion movement is really about money and not the sanctity of life?"

EVERY human activity has an economic cost. Most times when someone writes, "You can't put a price on (whatever) it means taxes are going to be raised.

Consider people killed by drunk drivers. Say the Magic Wand Fairy waved it and gave you Baptists your wish - every person in the US went on the wagon. It would cause an economic depression in about two months. It would sort itself out in maybe five years but in the mean time . . . .

The market sets the price except for one thing, and the Bible is very profound about the subject. What is the price of a human soul? Some people think it quite cheap, as they are willing to pursue a life of some material gratification in exchange for it. That is one thing the economic expert idiots cannot price.

Two possible replies. First, the argument from incredulity which begins "God is sooooooooo holy and humans are sooooooooo sinful . . . ." I don't there.

Or a discussion of Bible economics. According to Bible economics, every one "passes 'go' " every seven years and the game is reset to the starting point. All contracts and land sales are cancelled.

I would say the pro-abortion movement is about money, since most abortions are performed on blacks, that keeps the welfare rate lower than it would be if abortion wasn't legal. So that explains why the black caucus and other "progressive" blacks like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are for abortion, which we all know, Planned Parenthood was founded on the principle of eugenics. Also, aborted baby parts are sold and it is a big business.

I think you have that mixed up with the Year of Jubilee which is 50 years.

Edited: No you are correct about debts cancelled in 7 years.

I am missing the point you are making about abortion.

    OK, 50 years.

    >What is the price of a human soul?

ZERO! Jesus already paid the price.
