    I got a feeling he is right this time. However, your point is well taken. He was Mondale's campaign manager in 1984. For all his efforts, he managed a squeaker in Minnesota. LOL

    Polls have a dubious reputation for accuracy. What I do think is a better gage are trends over a wide set of polls.

    And to the declaration that it is over, one year to consider: 1980.
