Is that title true? And to think I actually wrote him in during the last election.

Is worshiping a false god a value that will stand the test of fire? Interesting that a lot of the folks who were against Romney 6 months ago don't seem to want to mention that he worships a false god when they are going off about the morals of the other candidate.

    Yes, we get it, Zaac.

For you Romney's personal religious beliefs are more important that Obama's promotion and funding of abortion with our tax dollars.

The thing is a Christian voter isn't contributing to Romney's Mormonism beliefs by voting for him...

But a Christian voter is contributing to the deaths of the unborn by voting for Obama.

But you go right ahead with that.

As usual, that comment is proof that you don't get it.

    And you deduce this how?

    I will.

Please show me where Huckabee says Christians are going to Hell if they vote for Obama.

"Stand the test of fire" must be a reference to 1 Cor 3.

12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

I can understand the writer at The Inquisitr didn't know this but I'm surprised you couldn't figure it out. But what are we to expect from you? You'd rather cast stones at Christians by posting hate-filled distorted articles about Huckabee in a pathetically lame attempt to dig at people voting for Romney. I guess I'm not surprised that you couldn't reference this basic piece of theology.

Stuff like this simply proves neither candidate has the moral high ground. Just like the rest of humanity they are failable. One worships a "false god", one allows the "murder of the unborn" both are disagreeable positions.

Good thing God is in control, huh?

It is a conclusion reached by how frequently you bring up Romney's Mormon faith and how infrequently (if ever) you bring up Obama's rabid pro-abortion agenda.

Win or lose Romney will still be a Mormon after the election. Voting for or not voting for Romney will not change that.

If Obama wins he will continue his campaign of war against the unborn. If he loses he will no longer be in the same position to wage that war.

Of that I have no doubt.

Thank you so much for interjecting this early on. When I read the quote, I knew EXACTLY what verses Huckabee was referring to.

And I am surprised that someone would take Huckabee's comment and surmise that he was referencing hell.

Zaac, hell is not a "test of fire". Hell is a punishment. The test is long since over.

The "test of fire" as spoken of by Paul is God's judgment of the works of Christians.

Show me too. That's why I asked the question.

And I'm surprised you think I didn't get that.

And you'd obviously rather cast stones about something that wasn't done. I asked a question. And then proceeded.

You're preaching to the choir. You must not have read the first question I asked after the article.

Yeah, that's known as trolling. Posting something provocative hoping to get a response.

When you post Mike Huckabee Warns Christians Voting Obama Will Go to Hell and then ask "Is that title true?" indicates to me that no, you didn't get that. If you had gotten it you would have said something like, "I understand that Huckabee is referring to 1 Cor. 3 and isn't saying Christians are going to Hell, but is worshiping a false god a value that will stand the test of fire?"

And I said you didn't reference that bit of theology.

Instead you took the low road.

So you posted a misleading OP title just to get a raise out of people?

The title of you post is not true and I have no idea why you would entitle it so.

You are confusing apples with oranges if you are equating [a] a person who would vote for Romney with a person who would have to answer for Romney's Mormonism.

Huckabee was warning not to vote for someone who would be in favor of killing children and publicly upholding the law of the land encourages the killing of the unborn. Obama publicly supports abortion for the masses.

Romney does not encourage Mormonism for the masses. He does not publicly uphold it as a law of the land because it isn't a law.

You are comparing apples and oranges.

What it shows it that you don't know what you think you know. But that's par for the course. Address the topic at hand.

How about this radical ideal - Lets ask :praying: the Lord for Huckabee to have the opportunity to witness to Romney! Lets build:jesus: on that.

Maybe if you would write with more clarity we would know what to address.

    1. Is the topic at hand "Huckabee says Christians going to hell for voting Obama?"

    2. Is the topic "Is that headline true?"

    3. Is the topic "is worshiping a false god a value that will stand the test of fire?"

If it will placate you I'll take door #3.

Worshiping a false god will send a person to Hell. Christians are not, by definition, worshiping a false god. Therefore, worshiping a false god is not a test of good works for a Christian.

Your question has been answered. Once again you've failed.

For those of you who like to read, you will see that the title of the article corresponds to the title of the thread.

But that escapes some folks. I didn't write the article.
