God’s anointing must be dead and buried with Him somewhere

In the OT … we see that God anointed His special prophets with visions, dreams,
words of knowledge, miracles, etc. so they could bless His chosen people.
This anointing was when God’s Spirit came UPON them.

In the NT … we see that God anointed Jesus and the apostles with spiritual gifts
so they could bless people, most of whom would inherit salvation.
This anointing was when God’s Spirit came UPON them (not IN them).

But then, the apostles died, and so did God.
So, He obviously couldn’t anoint anyone else ever again!
    ‘Tis an awful shame.

But, wait, Satan came to the rescue! … Praise God!
He carried on when God couldn’t.
Millions of people have been healed and miracles have been performed
all over the world through evangelists when they preach the gospel message.

Now, here comes MY big problem …
no one, anywhere, can tell me why Satan would do this!

People pray in the name of Jesus, and Satan responds with his glorious S-W-M.
Satan works, and God gets all the glory! Nice arrangement.

Oh well, who am I to complain? … C’est la vie!

All the above existed during the time when the Bibical canon was in process of being completed.

Now we have something BETTER than gifted men here and there. In the Old Testament barely 160 years out of 4000 years where gifted men can be found. We have something BETTER.

We have something BETTER than gifted men to guide us. We have the completed Word of God already confirmed as the truth.

God still answers prayers, performs miracles and heals the sick.

Yes, mormons pray in the name of Jesus too! Yes, JW's pray in the name of Jesus too! Yes, United Pentecostal's pray in the name of Jesus too!

To beat all, hindu god men perform the same miracles as do name and claim it healers and both claim to be Christ.

Now if you want to know something really amazing, God in the flesh, selected out of all of his servants one man whom he regarded the greatest of all born of women and yet that man never performed a single miracle, never spoke in tongues, never raised the dead, never healed the sick - John the Baptist!

Want to know something more amazing? Without miracles, signs and wonders he preached the gospel (Jn. 3:36) and made multitudes of disciples without so-called power evangelism!!!

E-7, what do you want here?

It so obviously isn't fellowship, iron sharpening iron, or anything edifying. You mock, you lie about those here - calling us blaspheming unbelievers claiming that we attribute to Satan what God is doing, and you repeat yourself over and over ad nausem.

    What do you want here?

I've already answered all the questions you have raised - in great detail and with lots of scripture.

All I can determine is that you are looking for fight. You certainly have no love for anyone here nor - as evidenced by your mocking tone - do you have any respect for anyone here.

And by your repeating your objections and questions - you are not listening to anyone here.

    I just don't get it.

What he wants is to be right and to beat everyone down who disagrees with him so he have feel more sure about the doctrine he wants to believe in but cannot find the confidence too on his own.

You couldn't be more wrong, pal. My hearty congratulations!
I'm sure there are many here who KNOW that I KNOW I am right.
Actually, the truth about this is so obvious it's just plain ridiculous.

P.S. You still won't tell us which idiotic Seminary you went to.
PS, HS, C/U, Seminary ... none of them could even teach you the difference between "to" and "too".
    Pathetic!

    Scarlett, baby, what's up?
I doubt that you get much of anything!

I'm teachin' da truth, but you just don't get it.
And I'm betting some have already, and more will in the future.

When you find yourself in a crisis, you gonna have enough faith to pray for, and receive, a miracle?

You would not know the truth if it stared right in the face. Your attitude (as expressed by what you say) has absolutely no spirituality about it and your interpretations of scripture are confused and irrational.

What I find amusing is that you defend precisely what obvious and documented false prophets among Pentecostals teach and yet you agree they are false prophets.

I do believe E-7 is probably nothing more than a pagan/druid/atheist/ etc etc trying to stir up trouble and confusion.

I hope that he/she/ comes to Christ someday.He/she will then find out what it means to be truly alive.
