Kirsten Powers “I don’t know. I think if he does though it could be, that kind of arrogance, which I think it would be, would be his undoing. Because if she is put under oath and is forced to go through and answer all of these questions about Benghazi, it’s going to put the administration into a really bad position. And I don’t think she was the frontrunner. I don’t understand where this came out of… It’s now become almost a sense of pride… His defense of her was fine but then it kind of went into an area that didn’t make sense.”

Kirsten has been one of the very few democrats to openly question Obama about the Benghazi assassinations! Two others are Pat Cadell and Doug Shoen. These two have been very critical of Obama in all aspects of his reign!

I doubt that anything that Obama could do would affect the liberals, blacks, Hispanics, young women, and assorted others who voted Obama in the last election. The country is in far worse shape than it has been since the War of Northern Aggression, in my opinion!

Right now, Obama is so full of himself that his arrogance runneth over. He may believe he can push her through regardless of opposition. Of course, if he can't he'll just unconstitutionally appoint her anyway.

How often have we heard that some extremism of the globalists' house boy would spell his doom, and then it didn't.

Half the country idolizes Obama in the true sense of the word, and a significant portion of the other half is still asleep.

His pride will be his undoing. However, it won't be at the hand of any human detractor. He'll get his way, by decree (executive order) if necessary but one day God will make him low. It will be a highly unpleasant event for him. Pray for him.

He has job security for the next 4 years. That's better than most Americans not in the military.

Benghazi is a non issue for Rice. First of all, her responsibility does not involve intelligence or alert statuses at embassies around the world. She was functioning as the administration's spokesperson and gave information that was authorized to be released. Obviously things have changed, but there are times when the administration, and the CIA for that matter, needs to be a little more taciturn, and less chatty on Sunday morning television. The goal of the intelligence community is to catch Al Qaida when they're planning something, not to divulge every detail of a specific incident. The Senate committee has a full report, one that John McCain would have seen and heard if he hadn't been out chasing down media to complain about not being given information.

The issue is that if Rice is nominated as Secretary of State, John Kerry won't be. The Republicans prefer him, and are willing to choke down their bile and play devil's advocate to push for him because it would open up his Senate seat and they could try to get their favorite nude model back into the Senate from his home state of Massachusetts. That's the issue. Nothing is going to come of Benghazi.

DNC talking points or not, it is clear you don't have the facts, and you don't want them.

Benghazi isn't close to the kind of intelligence failures that occurred repeatedly during the Bush administration. Even the Republicans on the intelligence committee have admitted that procedure was being followed, and staffing and security were at levels required under the alert that was in place.

The loudest complainers among the GOP--McCain, Kelly Ayotte and Lindsey Graham, all have plenty of motivation to want their good bud Scott Brown back in the Senate and the only way to do that is to push for John Kerry, whom I'm sure they love and for whom they have tremendous affection, to be Secretary of State.

And Brown himself is certainly not prone to using Democratic talking points.

I should qualify. Even the Republicans except John McCain, who missed the meeting because he was out chasing down the media to complain that he wasn't getting any information, and the two who want Kerry so they can set up Brown to take his congressional seat.

Yes let's all ignore that there was not even close to enough security on site and there had been recent attacks. Lets ignore that more security was asked for and Obama tried to make the case that "al qaeda is on their heals" during the campaign. Lets just ignore facts for liberal lies and misdirection.

It is true Benghazi was not an intel failure. It was a conscience act of a treasonous regime in our own whitehouse. They knew the facts, they chose inaction as their action and sacrificed American lives for political points.

Baloney. That's politics. The fact is that the embassy was on alert, according to standard security procedure that has been in place on every anniversary of 9-11 since it happened, and they had the same level of security as every other embassy in the Middle East. This is nothing more than sour grapes and bitter bile after a smackdown repudiation by the American people at the polls. It's an attempt to grasp at straws to try to get some leverage on other issues, and it is going no where.
