Large blocks voting for one candidate

    Salty did not seem able to stay on the topic of the GOP and Fox news, so in attempting to not derail that thread I decided to start a new one on his topic:

    Basically the fact that all racial minorities went strongly for Obama gives a strong argument that the GOP was completely out of touch with Blacks, Hispanics and Asians.

    Also, note that Catholics voted for Obama, 52% to 45%. So it seems the GOP is out of touch with them also.

    We know women went for Obama and it is hardly surprising considering the draconian laws the GOP and Tea Party have pushed on state levels that Romney said he supported. [I doubt he really did. He would have flip-flopped on that one.]

    All-in-all, except for white men the GOPs message was not well received by others.

    How many of those white Republicans in Mssissippi and Alabama voted for Romney because he was NOT black?

    I think it would have been 100% if Romney had been SBC Christian.

    If not fraud, then women elected Obama, plain and simple. All other subcategories are swallowed up in that demographic. More women than men voted. A majority of the men voted for Romney, a majority of the women voted for Obama.

    That's absurd. If you think it would have been 100% if he had been an SBC Christian then it obviously wouldn't be based on color.

    Probably true. There are more adult women than adult men because women live longer.
