Russia Pravda Says "Communism Won in American with Obama; US Suffering Has Only Begun" http://buff.ly/WRhFu1

In an extraordinary column last week, Russia's de facto government press arm declared that the era of "Miss American Pie" was over in the U.S. Citing Obama's reelection, Pravda stated that the "Communists have won in America…"

Why? Because the US is “an illiterate society” that continues to buy off on Obama’s “lies of less taxes while he raises them.” The US educational system is also held responsible, with Pravda stating that it was “conquered by the Communists long ago and history was revised thus paving the way for their Communist presidents.”

As you might have gathered, Pravda’s hit on Obama as a communist isn’t a glancing blow. It seems to be the overriding theme of the article:

He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia. Obama’s fools and Stalin’s fools share the same drink of illusion.

And if anyone would know a communist, Russia would. Full article HERE.

Have a look at english (dot) pravda (dot) ru if you dare to see the kind of news source being quoted.

There is also a story about the KKK controlling Indiana.

Like Radio Moscow used to be, Pravda is still way out in its own little world. I wonder when was the last time they published an article about the mad US generals who have to be kept in padded cells in the Pentagon. I remember way back when I was in the Army listening to Radio Moscow rant about these generals. I was in the Signal Corps and we used to listen in on the English language Radio Moscow .... my what good belly laughs we had at their reports.

I suspect the Huffy Post, Time, NY Times, most leftist rags in this country, perhaps even Crabby silently agree, for the time being, with Pravda. I do! First time in my life!

I've always found it interesting when Christians are willing to agree with certain things that communists say or do. I remember when I was a teen and one of the pieces of evidence against listening to rock music was because "not even the Soviet Union will let these rock stars into their country", the implication being that on all other issues--economic theory, religious liberty, war-mongering, stated destruction of the U.S.A.--the Russians were dead wrong, but on rock music policy they had nailed it!

Why do you find it interesting? Why the need to ridicule?
Just because you disagree with people, or an organization, on most issues does not mean agreeing on something is not ever going to happen. In fact it's intellectually dishonest to think that it won't happen.

I'm not ridiculing. I'm pointing out that Christians would never in a million years agree with 99% of what Pravda has to say but when it resonates with their belief that Obama is a communist, then Pravda speaks the truth. It's cherry-picking a source that's almost always propaganda for an opinion.

Just think how things have changed Crabby. Whereas leftists/democrats used to hang on to the radio trying to pick up Radio Moscow now they just turn on MSNBC! Instead of reading Pravda they read the Huffy Post or the NY Times!

I can see the humor, but worry some folks actually believe it. Remember, extremists of both poles see the world in black and white.

    Stalin thought everyone a subversive.
US Senator, paranoid, and alcoholic, Joseph McCarthy, accused -Republican- President Dwight Eisenhower of being a Communist.
Long ago, a few Protestants in America thought Catholic Church's had guns hidden inside, so the Pope could take over America.

OK, if they're just having fun, OK. But, I fear they take themselves too seriously. The thing to watch out for is:

Extremists love witch hunts. Part of witch hunting is to label your opponents as far worse than reality. For some, it is fun to make wild accusations, and oversimplify issues. It beats debate, and considering your opponent's view, all of which are about as fun as pushups.

"Obama Care" is essentially the same thing as once proposed by Republican President Nixon, and later, Mitt Rommney in Massachusetts. Communism?

I say "NO!" to exaggeration, unless it's acknowledge as tongue-in-cheek humor. :)

EXACTLY WHY might Provda make such a statement? Exactly whom might buy it and be steered by it. In what direction might they be steered?

Russia’s Pravda Declares “Communism Won in American with Obama."

This title should read "Communism Won in America with Abraham Lincoln."
